what does it say about me if I keep I do the top-down approach to doing characters?..as in…I start with a Mary-Sue character…then just go from there to pick and choose…which traits, skills, characteristic to play with in value and such…things to downplay with…maybe keep the charisma…but lower the technical-aptitude for example?..or have them utterly happy at the beginning of their life…then ‘broken’ half-way after a traumatic in…or make them have this need to be liked or whatever.......or something.……or is that technique common?..I start with the Mary-Sue because its a ‘sandbox’ of things…the Mary-Sue is perfect in everything…so why not learn to play and tamper with that?..
