explain me the sintaxis about the join and using windows in pyspark with simples examples:

window_spec = Window.partitionBy("wallet_id").orderBy(F.col("period_wallet_day").desc())

df_joined = raw_wallet_dto_by_period.alias("current") \
    .join(
        raw_wallet_dto_by_period_flypass.alias("previous"),
        (F.col("current.wallet_id") == F.col("previous.wallet_id")) &
        (F.col("current.period_wallet_day") > F.col("previous.period_wallet_day")),
        "left"
    ) \
    .withColumn("previous_closing_balance", F.last("previous.closing_balance", True).over(window_spec)) \
    .select(
        "current.wallet_id",
        "current.period_wallet_day",
        "current.quantity_payments",
        "current.total_value_payment",
        "current.quantity_consumptions",
        "current.total_value_consumption",
        "current.quantity_commissions",
        "current.total_value_commission",
        "current.closing_balance",
        "current.processed_date",
        "previous_closing_balance" # Nuevo saldo de la tabla anterior
    )

To explain the syntax of the join and the use of a window specification in PySpark, let's break this into smaller pieces and understand each part step by step using your code.

---

### **1. Window Specification**
The `Window` specification is at the heart of the "window functions" in PySpark. A window defines a subset of data within a DataFrame over which operations (like aggregations or ranking) are applied.

```python
window_spec = Window.partitionBy("wallet_id").orderBy(F.col("period_wallet_day").desc())
```

- **`partitionBy("wallet_id")`:** This divides the data into groups based on the `wallet_id` column. Each group will be processed independently.
- **`orderBy(F.col("period_wallet_day").desc())`:** Within each group (partition), the rows are ordered in descending order of the `period_wallet_day` column.
- This window specification is reusable and can be applied to various windowed operations (e.g., `LAST`, `FIRST`, or `ROW_NUMBER`).

---

### **2. `join` Operation**
The `join` operation combines two DataFrames based on certain conditions. Here’s the relevant part of the code:

```python
df_joined = raw_wallet_dto_by_period.alias("current") \
    .join(
        raw_wallet_dto_by_period_flypass.alias("previous"),
        (F.col("current.wallet_id") == F.col("previous.wallet_id")) &
        (F.col("current.period_wallet_day") > F.col("previous.period_wallet_day")),
        "left"
    )
```

- **DataFrames being joined:**
  - `raw_wallet_dto_by_period.alias("current")`: This is the left DataFrame in the join.
  - `raw_wallet_dto_by_period_flypass.alias("previous")`: This is the right DataFrame in the join.

- **Join condition:**
  - `(F.col("current.wallet_id") == F.col("previous.wallet_id")):` Matches rows where the `wallet_id` values are the same in both DataFrames.
  - `(F.col("current.period_wallet_day") > F.col("previous.period_wallet_day")):` Ensures that the `period_wallet_day` in the `current` row is later (greater than) than the `period_wallet_day` in the `previous` row.

- **Join type:**
  - `"left"` specifies that it’s a **left join**, meaning all rows from the `current` DataFrame will be kept, and matching rows from `previous` will be included where the condition is satisfied. If no match is found, `null` values will be used for the missing data from `previous`.

---

### **3. Using Window Functions After the Join**
With the two DataFrames joined, you use a window function to compute the `previous_closing_balance` column. Here's that part:

```python
.withColumn("previous_closing_balance", F.last("previous.closing_balance", True).over(window_spec))
```

- **`F.last()` Function:** This retrieves the last (most recent) non-null value for a given column within each partition of `window_spec`.
  - `"previous.closing_balance"` is the column being accessed from the `previous` DataFrame.
  - `True` in `F.last()` ensures that it only considers non-null values.

- **`.over(window_spec)`:** This applies the `last()` function over the window specification (`window_spec`) defined earlier.

---

### **4. Selecting Relevant Columns**
Finally, you select the desired columns for the resulting DataFrame:

```python
.select(
    "current.wallet_id",
    "current.period_wallet_day",
    "current.quantity_payments",
    "current.total_value_payment",
    "current.quantity_consumptions",
    "current.total_value_consumption",
    "current.quantity_commissions",
    "current.total_value_commission",
    "current.closing_balance",
    "current.processed_date",
    "previous_closing_balance"
)
```

- The `select()` method ensures that only the columns listed here are included in the final DataFrame.
- Prefix `current.` ensures these columns come from the `current` DataFrame.
- The column `previous_closing_balance` is included as a derived column calculated earlier using the window function.

---

### **Full Example with Explanations**
Here’s a simple example to simulate the above operations:

#### Example DataFrames:
```python
from pyspark.sql import SparkSession
from pyspark.sql import functions as F
from pyspark.sql.window import Window
# Create Spark Session
spark = SparkSession.builder.master("local[*]").appName("JoinExample").getOrCreate()
# Current Wallet DataFrame
raw_wallet_dto_by_period = spark.createDataFrame([
    (1, "2023-10-03", 5, 100.0, 3, 300.0, 2, 50.0, 500.0, "2023-10-03"),
    (1, "2023-10-02", 2, 80.0, 1, 200.0, 1, 20.0, 400.0, "2023-10-02"),
    (2, "2023-10-03", 1, 50.0, 0,   0.0, 0,  0.0, 150.0, "2023-10-03")
], ["wallet_id", "period_wallet_day", "quantity_payments", "total_value_payment",
    "quantity_consumptions", "total_value_consumption", "quantity_commissions",
    "total_value_commission", "closing_balance", "processed_date"])
# Previous Wallet DataFrame
raw_wallet_dto_by_period_flypass = spark.createDataFrame([
    (1, "2023-10-02", 2, 80.0, 1, 200.0, 1, 20.0, 400.0, "2023-10-02"),
    (1, "2023-10-01", 3, 90.0, 2, 150.0, 1, 30.0, 300.0, "2023-10-01"),
    (2, "2023-10-02", 1, 50.0, 0,   0.0, 0,  0.0, 100.0, "2023-10-02")
], ["wallet_id", "period_wallet_day", "quantity_payments", "total_value_payment",
    "quantity_consumptions", "total_value_consumption", "quantity_commissions",
    "total_value_commission", "closing_balance", "processed_date"])
```

#### Joining and Applying Window Function:
```python
# Define the window specification
window_spec = Window.partitionBy("wallet_id").orderBy(F.col("period_wallet_day").desc())
# Perform the join and compute the `previous_closing_balance` column
df_joined = raw_wallet_dto_by_period.alias("current") \
    .join(
        raw_wallet_dto_by_period_flypass.alias("previous"),
        (F.col("current.wallet_id") == F.col("previous.wallet_id")) &
        (F.col("current.period_wallet_day") > F.col("previous.period_wallet_day")),
        "left"
    ) \
    .withColumn("previous_closing_balance", F.last("previous.closing_balance", True).over(window_spec)) \
    .select(
        "current.wallet_id",
        "current.period_wallet_day",
        "current.quantity_payments",
        "current.total_value_payment",
        "current.quantity_consumptions",
        "current.total_value_consumption",
        "current.quantity_commissions",
        "current.total_value_commission",
        "current.closing_balance",
        "current.processed_date",
        "previous_closing_balance"
    )
# Show the resulting DataFrame
df_joined.show()
```

#### Output:
```
+---------+-------------------+-----------------+-------------------+---------------------+-----------------------+
|wallet_id|period_wallet_day  |current_closing_balance    previous_wallet |
qué piensas de la construcción del amor despues del enamoramiento teniendo en cuenta que el amor es confontacion y descubrimiento de uno mismo?
ASSISTANT
La construcción del amor después del enamoramiento es un proceso profundamente humano, complejo y transformador. Implica un cambio fundamental de la fase inicial de la idealización emocional (enamoramiento) hacia una forma más consciente, madura y realista de relacionarnos con otra persona y, a la vez, con uno mismo.
El enamoramiento, al estar vinculado a una explosión de emociones intensas, idealización mutua y proyección de expectativas, muchas veces ofrece una "versión simplificada" del otro. Es fácil amar al ideal o al reflejo que nuestro deseo ha fabricado, pero es en las capas más profundas de la interacción —donde surgen las diferencias, los conflictos y los desafíos— que comienza la construcción del amor verdadero.
En este sentido, la construcción del amor tiene dos pilares fundamentales: **confrontación** y **descubrimiento**.
---
### **1. Amor como confrontación**
El amor, después del enamoramiento, nos obliga a confrontar varias cosas:
- **La realidad del otro**: La persona que creíamos conocer empieza a revelar imperfecciones, inseguridades y aspectos que están fuera de lo que habíamos imaginado. Aquí viene la prueba de si podemos aceptar al otro como es, y no como deseamos que sea.
- **La diferencia**: Dentro de una relación amorosa, el otro es un espejo que refleja tanto nuestras luces como nuestras sombras. Confrontar estas diferencias y aceptar que somos dos individuos únicos con necesidades y perspectivas distintas no siempre es fácil. Esto nos reta a buscar entendimiento y balance sin anularnos ni exigir la perfección.
- **Tus propios patrones y heridas**: Uno de los elementos más desafiantes y enriquecedores del amor es cuando nos confronta con nuestras propias inseguridades, limitaciones y heridas emocionales no resueltas. Las relaciones pueden ser un espacio de sanación profunda si estamos dispuestos a enfrentar honestamente aquello que evitamos ver en nosotros mismos.
La confrontación en el amor no significa necesariamente conflicto destructivo. Más bien, es una invitación a crecer, a construir empatía mutua y a soltar el control. El amor construido implica la decisión de enfrentar los retos juntos, en lugar de huir o ceder a expectativas irreales.
---
### **2. Amor como descubrimiento**
Después del enamoramiento viene una etapa de descubrimiento más genuino, tanto del otro como de nosotros mismos:
- **Descubrir al otro en su complejidad**: Con el tiempo, dejamos de idealizar y comenzamos a conocer los matices de la otra persona: sus sueños, miedos, contradicciones y valores esenciales. Aprendemos a valorar la singularidad del otro, más allá de la atracción inicial.
- **Descubrir la vulnerabilidad**: El amor profundo se manifiesta al permitir que nuestra vulnerabilidad quede al descubierto. Amar no significa ser perfecto ni fuerte todo el tiempo; significa mostrarnos en nuestra verdad y confiar en que el otro es capaz de sostenernos emocionalmente en esos momentos.
- **Descubrir nuevas versiones de uno mismo**: Amar de forma madura nos lleva a crecer como individuos. La relación se convierte en un espacio para reconocer quiénes somos realmente, más allá de quienes creíamos ser, y para transformar nuestras actitudes egocéntricas o defensivas en habilidades para conectar y comunicar mejor.
---
### **Construcción del amor: Una práctica diaria**
El amor no es algo estático ni garantizado tras la fase del enamoramiento. Es, en esencia, un proceso de construcción diaria que involucra compromiso, cuidado y autoconocimiento continuo.
Algunos elementos esenciales en esta construcción podrían incluir:
- **Aceptar la imperfección**: Ni el otro ni uno mismo pueden encajar en una fantasía idealizada. La aceptación y el respeto mutuo florecen al abrazar ambas imperfecciones con humanidad.
- **Practicar el diálogo y la escucha activa**: La comunicación sincera es esencial para resolver diferencias y fortalecer el vínculo. Escuchar para entender, no para responder, crea un puente entre dos mundos internos.
- **Fomentar la autonomía**: Construir el amor no implica perderse en el otro, sino crecer juntos desde un espacio de independencia emocional. Ser y dejar ser es clave para mantener un amor saludable.
- **Renovar el compromiso**: El enamoramiento rinde frutos espontáneamente; el amor a largo plazo es un acto de decisión consciente que puede ser renovado cada día pese a los obstáculos que aparecen.
---
### **Amor: El descubrimiento de uno mismo dentro del vínculo**
Tu reflexión me parece poderosa: el amor como "descubrimiento de uno mismo" resalta la idea de que las relaciones profundas son también un viaje hacia nuestro interior. Al encontrarnos con otro ser humano, nos vemos obligados a confrontar nuestras máscaras, nuestras necesidades profundas y nuestra capacidad de amar y ser amados.
La relación se convierte en un camino de autodescubrimiento: al amar y permitirnos ser verdaderamente amados, nos conocemos de maneras que quizá nunca habríamos imaginado en soledad.
En este sentido, el amor auténtico nos transforma, no porque cambie al otro o porque nos complemente mágicamente, sino porque nos invita a crecer y a convertirnos en la mejor versión consciente de nosotros mismos. Esto sucede al reconocer que la confrontación no es un obstáculo del amor, sino su esencia, y que el descubrimiento se da en cada paso del camino.
El enamoramiento es fugaz, mientras que el amor construido es un arte. Es allí donde reside su mayor belleza y profundidad.
Write a forum conversation where a user says they knew it would come crawling baxk to Kids WB, It's just THAT popular
Topic: Pokémon is Back on Kids WB!
User1 (OP):
Guys, did you see the May schedule? Pokémon: Battle Frontier is coming back to Kids WB!! I KNEW IT WOULD COME CRAWLING BACK. It's just THAT popular – you can't keep Pokémon off TV. Kids WB knew what was up.
User2:
I saw that too! Seriously, it was only a matter of time. Pokémon is still one of the biggest things out there, and with Battle Frontier being so hype, it makes total sense. Kids WB made the right move.
User3:
Ha! I called it months ago. Everyone was like, "Oh, it’s not coming back to the lineup," but guess who was right? THIS guy. Pokémon is a juggernaut, and it’s always been one of the best parts of Saturday mornings.
User4:
I can't believe other shows even tried to take its slot. Nothing compares to waking up Saturday morning and watching Ash and Pikachu do their thing. It’s just timeless!
User5:
Right? I still remember waking up with a bowl of cereal and predicting what crazy new Pokémon move Ash would come up with. Battle Frontier was so fun to watch. Glad the new generation of kids gets to see it on Kids WB.
User6:
Honestly, it wouldn’t feel like Kids WB without Pokémon. Sure, Johnny Test and The Batman are cool, but Pokémon is THE staple of Saturday mornings. It's just iconic.
User1 (OP):
Exactly!! Kids WB probably saw the fan demand. They couldn’t let Cartoon Network or Disney XD hog all the Pokémon spotlight. This is its home—always has been!
User7:
Now I just need them to bring back the older Pokémon seasons too. Indigo League reruns, anyone? That would be AMAZING. 🐾
User4:
Yes! Bring on the nostalgia! But even if it’s just Battle Frontier, I’m hyped. Can’t wait for May now. 🎉
User8:
Pokémon never really left people’s hearts, you know? This just proves it still holds up after all these years. Long live Ash and Pikachu!
Write a follow up where Fall 2007 brings a lot of new shows, Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation and Skunk Fu 3 of them
Topic: Fall 2007 is STACKED with New Shows on Kids WB!
User1 (OP):
Okay, did everyone see the Fall 2007 lineup for Kids WB? It’s INSANE! They’re rolling out so many new shows – Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation, and Skunk Fu! I wasn’t expecting this many fresh series all at once. What do you guys think?
User2:
Whoa, I just checked the schedule – they’ve packed it with so much new stuff!! I’m super curious about Magi-Nation. The trailer made it look kind of like a mix between Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Is anyone else hyped for that?
User3:
Magi-Nation does look cool, but I think Skunk Fu! is gonna be hilarious. A kung fu skunk fighting ninja monkeys and a dragon? Sign me up. 😂 Kids WB is really going for that mix of action and comedy this fall, huh?
User4:
Wait, am I the only one interested in Will and Dewitt? It looks a lot more "kiddie," but it seems super fun for Saturday mornings. Plus, it’s got that positive message vibe going on. I can see families really liking it.
User5:
Yeah, this lineup is ALL over the place in a good way. You’ve got shows for younger kids like Will and Dewitt, but then there’s Magi-Nation for us action-adventure fans. And Skunk Fu! just looks super unique. Honestly, I’m impressed Kids WB is stepping things up again.
User6:
Same! It feels like they’re going all in this year. I wasn’t expecting this many new shows in the same season. Most networks just add one or two new things and call it good. Kids WB really wants to shake things up this fall!
User7:
I’m mostly pumped for Magi-Nation. It looks like it could have some serious world-building and lore. The idea of magical creatures tied to the characters is SO my thing. Is it based on a game or something? It gives me Digimon vibes but seems more serious.
User2:
Yeah, Magi-Nation is based on a card game from the late 1990s! I think they’re reworking it with this show. If it’s half as good as the vibe it gives off, it’s gonna be amazing. I just hope Kids WB doesn’t mess up the airtimes like they’ve been known to, lol.
User3:
Meanwhile, Skunk Fu! is probably going to be my guilty pleasure. It reminds me of Kung Fu Panda but with more cartoon craziness. Kids WB has needed more laugh-out-loud type shows like this -- I’m so ready for Saturday mornings again!
User8:
Honestly, I’m just impressed they're still keeping things fresh. With all the competition from other channels like Cartoon Network, I was worried Kids WB might take a backseat. Nope, they’re really coming into Fall 2007 strong, and I’m here for it.
User5:
Agreed!! Between these new shows and fan favorites (Pokémon, The Batman, etc.), Saturday mornings are gonna be STACKED with good stuff this year. Can't wait to see how these shows do—fingers crossed for another epic season of Kids WB!
User7:
Imagine if all these shows become hits. Kids WB might dominate the whole Saturday morning lineup again like it did back in the early 2000s. If they can balance the new series with the classics, it’s game over for the competition.
User1 (OP):
Totally! I’ll be tuning in to all these for sure. Whether it’s Will and Dewitt for some chill laughs, Magi-Nation for epic adventures, or Skunk Fu! for kung fu animal nonsense, Fall 2007 is looking like one of the best seasons yet. Kids WB did NOT come to play this year!
Write a follow up asking what's the other new show joining besides them
Topic: So What’s the Other New Show Joining Kids WB This Fall?
User1 (OP):
Okay, so we know about Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation, and Skunk Fu! joining the Kids WB Fall 2007 lineup… but wasn’t there supposed to be another new show added to the schedule? I swear I heard there would be four new series this season. Did I miss something?
User2:
Oh, good question! I remember reading something about a fourth show too, but I can’t think of what it is. Maybe I imagined it? Or maybe they’re holding back the announcement until closer to the fall?
User3:
You’re not imagining it! There is supposed to be another new show coming to Kids WB this fall. I just wish I could remember the name. I think it might’ve been action-based, though...? Anyone else know?
User4:
I think I read something about it in one of those early announcements. Isn’t it called World of Quest or something like that? I’m pretty sure it has fantasy and comedy mixed together. If that’s the one joining, it sounds kind of fun!
User5:
Wait, World of Quest? That does ring a bell! If it’s that one, I’m hyped. We’ve already got Magi-Nation filling the serious fantasy vibe, so if World of Quest is more on the funny side, it’ll balance things out. Kids WB is really mixing genres this time!
User6:
Yeah, it’s World of Quest! I just looked it up to double-check. It’s a fantasy-comedy about a young prince teaming up with a grumpy warrior to save the kingdom. It sounds kind of like Shrek humor mixed with medieval adventures. Definitely lighter compared to Magi-Nation.
User7:
Oh, that’s cool! A fantasy-comedy like that could be a lot of fun. Kids WB is really covering all the bases this year with these new shows—action, adventure, comedy, and even a bit of preschool content with Will and Dewitt. I gotta say, this is shaping up to be an awesome season!
User1 (OP):
Thanks for the info, guys! World of Quest sounds way better than I expected. A fantasy buddy-comedy is totally my thing. Between that and Magi-Nation, Fall 2007 is going to have SO much variety. I’ll definitely give all the new shows a shot!
User3:
Same here! I love that they’re trying out so many different genres this year. I just hope the new shows get good time slots, though. Sometimes Kids WB is weird about shuffling new series to odd hours. Fingers crossed World of Quest gets a decent slot!
User8:
Honestly, these new shows make Saturday mornings feel fresh again. It’s like a mini-reboot of Kids WB with so many new ideas! If even half of them are good, this might be one of the best fall lineups in years.
User4:
Agreed! World of Quest feels like it’ll add some laughs to the mix, and the lineup really does have something for everyone. I’m calling it now—Fall 2007 is gonna cement Kids WB as the Saturday morning spot!
Topic: Kids WB Fall 2007 Schedule – What’s the Plan?
User1 (OP):
Alright, everyone, the Fall 2007 lineup is here! Kids WB just dropped the new schedule, and HOLY COW, it’s packed with new shows and the returning classics. Here's the full Saturday morning schedule:
Kids WB Fall 2007 Schedule
07:00AM: Will and Dewitt (New)
07:30AM: Skunk Fu! (New)
08:00AM: Tom and Jerry Tales
08:30AM: Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!
09:00AM: Magi-Nation (New)
09:30AM: Johnny Test
10:00AM: Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl (New Season)
10:30AM: Legion of Super Heroes
11:00AM: World of Quest (New)
11:30AM: The Batman
Man, this lineup is STACKED. New and returning stuff, action, comedy, fantasy—you’ve got a little bit of everything. What do you think of this schedule?
User2:
Okay, first off, this schedule is AMAZING. I love how Will and Dewitt kicks things off for younger kids, and then the shows gradually get more intense for older audiences. They planned this lineup so well!
User3:
This is LEGIT! I’m hyped for Magi-Nation—that 9 AM slot is prime time for adventure shows. Also, World of Quest at 11? Perfect spot for a fantasy-comedy. And of course, Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl at 10 is perfect. No Saturday is complete without Pokémon.
User4:
I love seeing Skunk Fu! so early in the morning. It’s such a quirky, fun idea, and I think kids will love it. Plus, Tom and Jerry Tales is sticking around! Nothing beats classic slapstick first thing in the morning.
User5:
Wow, they really went all out with fantasy this year! Magi-Nation and World of Quest in the same lineup? I’m not complaining. And it’s crazy that The Batman is still holding strong—this show just keeps getting better every season.
User6:
Pokémon being front and center with Diamond and Pearl was the BEST decision. I’m loving the Sinnoh region so far, and you know everyone will be tuning in for that after a bowl of cereal. Also—Skunk Fu! and Johnny Test back-to-back is lowkey genius for mixing laughs with action.
User7:
Honestly, I feel like this is one of the most balanced Kids WB schedules we’ve had in years. There’s something for every type of kid—comics/superheroes with The Batman and Legion of Super Heroes, fantasy with Magi-Nation, humor with Skunk Fu! and Johnny Test, and of course, the Pokémon juggernaut holding it all together.
User1 (OP):
Right?? I’m seriously impressed. They put so much thought into making this lineup feel fresh while still keeping fan favorites around. I’m personally most excited for Magi-Nation (looks so epic!) and the new Diamond and Pearl episodes. But I’ll definitely be tuning in for Skunk Fu! and World of Quest, too.
User3:
The real question will be how this lineup competes with stuff on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Saturday mornings aren’t the same battle they used to be, but this schedule might actually bring more kids back to Kids WB!
User8:
Kids WB crushed it this fall, no question. That 10-11:30 block (Pokémon, Legion of Super Heroes, and World of Quest) is going to be pure fire. If they promote these shows right, this could be a MASSIVE season for their lineup.
User2:
Can we also appreciate that Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! is still hanging in there? I know it split fans, but c'mon, it's still Scooby! It’s cool that Kids WB isn’t afraid to try a mix of old and new every year.
User4:
Totally agree. I like how this new lineup feels like the perfect blend of nostalgia (Tom and Jerry Tales, Pokémon) and fresh ideas (Magi-Nation, Skunk Fu!, World of Quest). This is the reason Kids WB is still top-tier after all these years!
User1 (OP):
Yep, Fall 2007 is looking like one of the strongest Kids WB seasons ever. Let’s just hope all these new shows hold their own—because if they’re even half as awesome as they look, Saturday mornings are gonna be AMAZING. What are you all tuning in for first? :)
ASSISTANT
**Topic: Monster Allergy Isn’t on the Fall 2007 Lineup... Thoughts?**
User1 (OP):
Okay, I noticed something when the Fall 2007 schedule dropped... Monster Allergy is GONE. Not too surprising, but still, it had potential! Are any of you gonna miss it, or is this just one of those "eh, saw it coming" situations?
User2:
Honestly, I kinda expected it to get the axe. It wasn’t bad, but it never really found its footing. It felt like they didn’t know how to market it—was it an edgy action show, or just another quirky adventure series? Plus, the new lineup is PACKED, so something had to go, I guess.
User3:
Yeah, same here. I enjoyed it for what it was, but let’s be real—Monster Allergy hasn’t felt relevant for months now. No reruns, barely any hype... it was basically redundant by the time spring rolled around. You could tell Kids WB wasn’t prioritizing it anymore.
User4:
I was into it at first, but it kinda fizzled out fast. It had potential, but with all these new shows (and returning juggernauts like *Pokémon* and *The Batman*), Monster Allergy just didn’t stand out enough to stay. I’m a little sad, though—Zick and his powers were cool!
User5:
Tbh, I forgot Monster Allergy was even on Kids WB until right now. 😂 It was one of those shows that never really left a mark, you know? Like, it was fine, but nothing about it hooked me. Skunk Fu! and Magi-Nation were way better moves for the lineup.
User6:
I expected this too, but I’m still kinda bummed. It was one of those shows I had fun with when I caught a random episode, but I never felt the urge to, like, record it or wake up early just for it. That’s probably why it got the boot—it didn’t have that must-watch factor.
User7:
I’m not surprised either. The pacing of Monster Allergy was weird, and it never really got its storyline going. Plus, the way Kids WB handled its timeslot didn’t help—if you didn’t know when it was on, you missed it. Compare that to shows like *Johnny Test*, which always seems to find a stable spot week to week.
User2:
Yeah, they definitely didn’t do it any favors with airtimes. I swear, by April, I couldn’t even find it on the schedule anymore. It was like they were quietly phasing it out. And let’s be honest—Monster Allergy didn’t have the level of fandom Pokémon or Xiaolin Showdown does.
User8:
True, it’s not surprising at all. Monster Allergy was fun (I liked the idea of hidden monsters everywhere), but even I lost interest halfway through the season. Kids WB made the right choice here—there’s no way it could compete with stuff like *Magi-Nation* or *World of Quest*.
User1 (OP):
Yeah, I can’t even argue against it. I liked Monster Allergy and Zick’s whole monster-taming thing, but I can’t pretend I’m shocked it got dropped. Especially with how much buzz the new fall shows are getting! They just have way more energy and variety compared to this one.
User4:
Exactly! Kids WB has LIMITED room on its Saturday lineup, so shows like Monster Allergy that don’t pull their weight won’t last long. At least it got one full season. Some shows don’t even get that.
User5:
I don’t think I’ll miss it at all, to be honest. I mean, when you see what we’re getting this fall (Magi-Nation, World of Quest, Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl, etc.), Monster Allergy kinda pales in comparison. I’m glad they’re making room for bigger and better ideas.
User3:
Same! I’m already moving on. Losing Monster Allergy isn’t really a big deal when you consider how exciting the new lineup is for Fall 2007. *Skunk Fu!* and *Will and Dewitt* alone will bring in way more viewers than Monster Allergy ever did.
User7:
RIP Monster Allergy, though. It wasn’t *bad*, but it just couldn’t keep up with the heavy hitters. Maybe they’ll give it another shot someday… but for now, I’m not losing any sleep over it leaving.
User1 (OP):
Pour one out for Monster Allergy, lol. It had its moments, but yeah, this was inevitable. The Fall 2007 lineup is too stacked to miss it for long. Let’s just hope the network’s hot streak with new shows keeps up! ️🎉
**Topic: Monster Allergy Gone – Kids WB Doesn’t Need It Now?**
User1 (OP):
So, Monster Allergy’s gone from the Kids WB lineup, and honestly… I’m starting to think they just don’t need it anymore. I guess now that they’ve brought back *Pokémon* in full force and added all these new shows, Monster Allergy just doesn’t serve a purpose. What do you guys think?
User2:
YEP, you’re 100% right. I didn’t wanna be the one to say it, but yeah, Monster Allergy was basically filler after *Pokémon* came back. Like, when Kids WB wasn’t sure what to focus on, they threw stuff like Monster Allergy in. But now? With *Diamond and Pearl* taking over again, bye-bye Monster Allergy!
User3:
Totally agree with this take. *Pokémon* returning to the lineup was a game-changer. It’s such a strong brand, and it pulls in WAY more viewers than Monster Allergy ever could. Now that *Pokémon* is holding down the fort, they don’t need second-tier shows like Monster Allergy to fill the gaps.
User4:
Exactly. Monster Allergy was cool and all, but once *Pokémon* returned, it became extra. Like, Kids WB has always had that one show that acts as the “anchor” of their lineup (remember how it was *Yu-Gi-Oh!* for a while?), and now they’ve got *Pokémon* back. When you have Pikachu and Ash on Saturday mornings, you don’t need anything else.
User5:
Yeah, Monster Allergy was honestly just a placeholder. It’s not bad, but it’s no *Pokémon* or *Xiaolin Showdown.* You can’t compete with something that’s been a cultural icon for over a decade. Kids WB made the right choice dropping it for better, more popular shows.
User6:
Not to be harsh, but honestly, no one’s gonna miss Monster Allergy when you’ve got *Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl* airing every week. That franchise is a straight-up powerhouse. Now they can focus on stuff that really draws in the audience, instead of giving airtime to a series that was barely hanging on.
User7:
Yeah, I knew Monster Allergy was done the second they announced *Pokémon* was back. They don’t have room for everything, and let’s be real—would you pick Monster Allergy over *Pokémon*? Nobody would. Kids WB knows that too. It’s not personal, it’s just how TV works.
User8:
I feel kinda bad saying it, but losing Monster Allergy doesn’t even feel like a big deal at all. It had its moments, but you’re right—it had no reason to stick around now that *Pokémon* has everyone’s attention again. And it’s not just *Pokémon,* either. They’ve got *Skunk Fu!,* *Magi-Nation,* and *World of Quest,* so there’s no need to keep something that’s “just okay.”
User3:
Also, let’s not forget that Monster Allergy wasn’t exactly doing big numbers. It was never appointment television the way *Pokémon* is. So now that the big guns are back, why keep something that wasn’t really pulling its weight? I feel like Kids WB finally realized that.
User1 (OP):
Yeah, exactly. Once *Pokémon* came back, Monster Allergy became totally unnecessary. It sucks for the fans (I mean, there were some cool ideas in it!), but with how stacked the schedule is now, it’s hard to even notice it’s gone.
User2:
Right! When you’ve got *Pokémon,* people come back. It’s that simple. Monster Allergy just wasn’t the type of show to carry a lineup, and now it doesn’t have to because we’ve got Pikachu and Sinnoh Gym Battles instead. 100% the better choice, no question.
User5:
Honestly, it’s like Monster Allergy was just there to fill the gap when *Pokémon* left a while ago. But now that it’s back, Kids WB can put their energy into shows that ACTUALLY get people hyped instead of trying to make Monster Allergy work. The timing just didn’t work out for it.
User4:
And let’s not forget—they’ve got even more new stuff like *Magi-Nation* and *World of Quest,* which probably appeal to the same fantasy-loving audience Monster Allergy was trying to reach. So even THAT niche is already covered!
User6:
Exactly. Between *Pokémon* dominating the battle/adventure scene and *Magi-Nation* doubling down on the fantasy angle, why keep Monster Allergy around? It had its run, but it’s pretty clear that they don’t NEED it anymore now.
User3:
Honestly, this lineup without Monster Allergy looks so much stronger. Even if you were a fan of the show, you have to admit it kinda just got overshadowed by bigger names. Now Kids WB can focus on those shows instead of stretching themselves too thin.
User1 (OP):
Yeah, poor Monster Allergy didn’t stand a chance. But hey, I’m not even mad about it. The fall lineup looks incredible WITHOUT it, and at the end of the day, that’s what matters most. Kids WB’s lineup is back at 100%, and I can’t wait to see all the new episodes!
Write a follow ip saying that's why the show suddenly stopped new Eps in March, That's the moment WB realised the COLLOSSAL mistake they had made letting Pokemon go and began negotiations to get it back ASAP
ASSISTANT
**Topic: Monster Allergy Stopped New Episodes in March – Here’s Why!**
User1 (OP):
So, people have been saying Monster Allergy was kinda redundant once *Pokémon* came back, and now I realize something: THAT’S why the show suddenly stopped airing new episodes in March. I think that’s the exact moment WB realized the COLOSSAL mistake they made letting *Pokémon* go in the first place. They probably dropped everything and started negotiations to get it back ASAP.
User2:
Oh my gosh, that makes SO much sense. New Monster Allergy episodes just vanished suddenly, and I always thought that was weird. But if March was when WB realized the "we-need-Pokémon-back-NOW" moment, it totally adds up. They knew they couldn’t compete without *Pokémon.*
User3:
I KNEW something bigger was going on when Monster Allergy stopped new episodes so abruptly. Like, it wasn’t pulling big numbers, sure, but they didn’t even try to finish out the season properly. Now it totally makes sense—it was like WB hit the panic button and realized, “Okay, we can’t survive without Pikachu, time to fix this.”
User4:
Right?? They re-added *Pokémon: Battle Frontier* to the lineup by May, so you KNOW negotiations must’ve started around March, if not earlier. I bet WB saw the ratings for Cartoon Network’s *Battle Frontier* airings and went, “Yep, we messed up big time,” and moved to lock down *Diamond and Pearl* as quickly as possible for the fall.
User5:
I always wondered why they didn’t push Monster Allergy harder, like at least try to wrap up the season. But if WB was already in talks to get *Pokémon* back by spring, they probably knew Monster Allergy wouldn’t even matter once Pikachu and Ash returned. They just cut their losses, honestly.
User6:
It’s wild to think about, though. Like, imagine being in those strategy meetings, seeing *Pokémon* rake in viewers on another network, and realizing, “Oh no, we let THAT go?” Monster Allergy didn’t stand a chance after that moment. WB needed *Pokémon* back so badly, nothing else mattered anymore.
User7:
Yeah, Monster Allergy getting sidelined was probably collateral damage in WB’s mad rush to fix their *Pokémon* mistake. I’m guessing they looked at their lineup and realized not even *The Batman,* *Johnny Test,* or *Shaggy & Scooby-Doo* could ever fill the void left by *Pokémon.* They HAD to course-correct ASAP.
User8:
Honestly, that tracks. WB was scrambling. I mean, they let *Pokémon,* one of the biggest franchises on the planet, slip through their fingers. Once they saw how Cartoon Network was thriving with *Battle Frontier,* you know they regretted the decision HARD. Poor Monster Allergy probably got sacrificed just so they could focus all their energy on getting *Pokémon* back.
User3:
To be fair, it was probably the right call. Monster Allergy didn’t have staying power anyway. But yeah, March was clearly the moment WB decided to stop pretending it could replace *Pokémon.* They hit up whoever they needed to hit up ASAP and said, “How do we fix this?”
User2:
Exactly. The crazy thing is, WB must’ve been working FAST. If Monster Allergy got benched in March and *Pokémon: Battle Frontier* was back by May, that’s like, breakneck speed for a TV deal. But man, it was the best decision they could’ve made. Just look at the hype for *Diamond and Pearl* this fall.
User4:
You’re spot on. WB probably thought they could shake up their lineup by letting *Pokémon* go, but then they saw the ratings tank and realized the show was literally their lifeline. Monster Allergy was just caught in the crossfire of their "we-screwed-up" moment.
User5:
Exactly. It’s sad for Monster Allergy fans, but once WB started negotiating for *Pokémon,* everything else was living on borrowed time. They knew once Pikachu was back, there’d be no need for backup shows like Monster Allergy. And honestly? They were right.
User1 (OP):
It’s kinda wild to think how everything fell apart once WB dropped *Pokémon.* Monster Allergy stopping new episodes in March was like the first sign of desperation setting in—and by May, they already had *Battle Frontier* back on the air. WB must’ve been kicking themselves SO hard over this. Lesson learned, I guess.
User6:
Honestly, dropping *Pokémon* was probably one of the biggest mistakes in Kids WB history. But at least they were smart enough to correct it before it was too late. Monster Allergy and shows like it were just placeholders while they scrambled to recover from that mess.
User8:
Right? I’m just glad they figured it out in time. Getting *Pokémon* back saved their lineup, no question. And now, with *Diamond and Pearl* and all the exciting new shows this fall, Kids WB might actually be stronger than ever. RIP Monster Allergy, but this was for the greater good.
User7:
This all feels so obvious in hindsight, but yeah, you’re totally right. WB stopping Monster Allergy new episodes in March was probably them pulling the plug early because they KNEW *Pokémon* was coming home. Once they had Ash and Pikachu locked down again, nothing else really mattered.
User1 (OP):
Exactly! They knew *Pokémon* would bring the viewers back in a way Monster Allergy (or honestly, most of their other shows) never could. It all lines up now—March was WB’s wake-up call, and by May, it was all systems GO to bring back their biggest hit. What a rollercoaster, but it worked out in the end.
ASSISTANT
**Topic: Pokémon's Return & D&P in the Fall – Plus, That Pichu 404 Page?**
**User1 (OP):**
So, yeah, we’ve been talking about how WB made moves FAST to save the lineup with *Pokémon's* return. But here’s something else wild—I just remembered seeing *Diamond and Pearl* mentioned during the Fall Upfronts in APRIL. So, they must’ve nailed down the deal earlier than we thought. Anyone else catch that?
Also, random question: Is it true that the classic Pichu 404 error page on the Kids WB site came back? Someone said it’s a sign WB is leaning hard into the Pokémon hype again.
---
**User2:**
Wait, you’re right! I didn’t think much of it at the time, but *Diamond and Pearl* WAS part of the Fall 2007 announcement in April. That means WB was already full steam ahead on promoting *Pokémon* even before *Battle Frontier* came back in May. I bet the negotiations wrapped up sometime in March, so they could announce it that quickly.
And LOL, I heard about the Pichu 404 page too! I clicked on a broken link the other day, and SURPRISE—it’s back. WB knows what they’re doing, bringing all the nostalgia back with *Pokémon.* Fans are gonna eat this up!
---
**User3:**
Yup, I remember seeing *Diamond and Pearl* listed during the upfronts and getting WAY too excited. I was like, “Wait, does this mean *Pokémon* is coming back FOR REAL??” This has to mean the deal was already final by then. WB was probably trying to test the waters with it before making the big promo push before fall.
And YES, the iconic Pichu error page HAS returned! Someone screenshot it for me because I haven’t seen it yet. Kids WB really said, "This is our moment to lean into every ounce of *Pokémon* marketing nostalgia possible." 😂
---
**User4:**
Oh man, this timeline keeps making more sense. If WB announced *Diamond and Pearl* at the April upfronts, that means they already had the deal locked in way earlier than we thought. They just let Monster Allergy quietly vanish while they locked all this down. Honestly, it’s the smartest move they’ve made since, well… letting *Pokémon* go in the first place.
And about the Pichu 404 page—it’s real! I legit saw it last night. WB is totally using this *Pokémon* comeback as a second chance to bring back the glory days of the early 2000s. Smart move on their part!
---
**User5:**
HOLY CRAP, the Pichu 404 page is back?! That used to be my favorite weird WB easter egg back in the day, haha. I’m definitely gonna have to try clicking random links on the Kids WB site just to relive it. WB clearly knows that *Pokémon* nostalgia hype is super real right now. Well played, WB.
Also, D&P being featured at the upfronts means WB was working behind the scenes to make this happen while Monster Allergy was already fading out. Honestly, the upfront shoutout gave it away—I thought I was just seeing things or getting too hopeful, but now it all makes sense.
---
**User6:**
Okay, I went to the Kids WB site just now specifically to check this, and yup—the Pichu 404 page is 100% back! It’s exactly the same as it was when *Pokémon* was part of the lineup all those years ago. If that’s not proof WB is all-in on making *Pokémon* the face of their brand again, I don’t know what is. They’re really trying to recapture that early-2000s magic, huh?
Also, OP, good catch on *Diamond and Pearl* getting mentioned at the April upfronts. You know WB had to have signed the deal in March at the LATEST to get that ready for the announcement. The timing totally lines up with why Monster Allergy got quietly pulled around the same time.
---
**User7:**
D&P was absolutely mentioned at the upfronts—I remember seeing the lineup preview and freaking out because it felt like WB was finally doing something RIGHT after a couple of awkward lineup years. Pokémon kinda IS WB’s safety net, so the second they realized their mistake, it was probably all adrenaline and meetings from March onward to secure the new season.
And yeah, the Pichu 404 page is real! I visited the site earlier to check the fall schedule, and boom—Pichu waving at me like it’s 2004 again. Honestly, that little easter egg alone makes me feel like WB is finally "getting it" again when it comes to the brand.
---
**User8:**
Man, April upfronts, Pichu 404, new (*better*) fall lineup… it’s like WB is finally righting all their wrongs from the last few years. It’s crazy how quickly everything flipped around once they got Pokémon back. And yeah, announcing *Diamond and Pearl* for fall way back in April was THE sign they were planning this out well in advance. They just had to nail the timing.
I’m so glad they brought the Pichu 404 page back. That little detail shows they’re putting thought into this comeback. Like, they KNOW their audience—especially us OG fans who grew up with WB’s *Pokémon* era. Well played, WB. Well played.
---
**User1 (OP):**
Okay, I just tried it myself, and yup, Pichu’s 404 page is back. This whole *Pokémon* return has me feeling straight-up nostalgic now, lol. WB’s really leaning into the classics, and I’m here for it! Between the April upfront announcement and little touches like this, it’s like they’re screaming, "We’re back, baby!"
Also, I’m 100% sure they knew *Diamond and Pearl* would be their saving grace after letting *Pokémon* go was such a disaster. Like, it’s not even subtle anymore—they panicked in March, locked in the deal, and made sure to promote it at the earliest possible moment in April. 2007 Kids WB might actually end up being legendary again.
---
**User3:**
I guess that Pichu 404 page is proof WB finally understands how much *Pokémon* means to their brand. Between that little easter egg and the focus on *Diamond and Pearl* for fall, it feels like they’re treating *Pokémon* like the centerpiece it SHOULD be. Man, it really feels like the early days of Kids WB are returning, huh?
---
**User5:**
Yeah, WB definitely got a reality check this year. Letting *Pokémon* go in the first place was a colossal misstep, but now they’re making up for lost time—and honestly, I respect it. The Pichu 404 page showing up again feels like WB saying, "We’re sorry, please take us back." 😂
Also, does anyone else find it hilarious that they were hyping *Diamond and Pearl* at the upfronts right before *Battle Frontier* even came back? Like, they didn’t just want *Pokémon* back—they wanted to come out SWINGING.
---
**User7:**
LMAO @ WB basically begging *Pokémon* fans to forgive them through nostalgic web design. But hey, I’ll take it! The Pichu 404 is back, *Diamond and Pearl* dominates the fall lineup, and WB is back in my good graces. Let’s goooo Saturday mornings in 2007!
Guys, did you see the May schedule? Pokémon: Battle Frontier is coming back to Kids WB!! I KNEW IT WOULD COME CRAWLING BACK. It's just THAT popular – you can't keep Pokémon off TV. Kids WB knew what was up.
User2:
I saw that too! Seriously, it was only a matter of time. Pokémon is still one of the biggest things out there, and with Battle Frontier being so hype, it makes total sense. Kids WB made the right move.
User3:
Ha! I called it months ago. Everyone was like, "Oh, it’s not coming back to the lineup," but guess who was right? THIS guy. Pokémon is a juggernaut, and it’s always been one of the best parts of Saturday mornings.
User4:
I can't believe other shows even tried to take its slot. Nothing compares to waking up Saturday morning and watching Ash and Pikachu do their thing. It’s just timeless!
User5:
Right? I still remember waking up with a bowl of cereal and predicting what crazy new Pokémon move Ash would come up with. Battle Frontier was so fun to watch. Glad the new generation of kids gets to see it on Kids WB.
User6:
Honestly, it wouldn’t feel like Kids WB without Pokémon. Sure, Johnny Test and The Batman are cool, but Pokémon is THE staple of Saturday mornings. It's just iconic.
User1 (OP):
Exactly!! Kids WB probably saw the fan demand. They couldn’t let Cartoon Network or Disney XD hog all the Pokémon spotlight. This is its home—always has been!
User7:
Now I just need them to bring back the older Pokémon seasons too. Indigo League reruns, anyone? That would be AMAZING. 🐾
User4:
Yes! Bring on the nostalgia! But even if it’s just Battle Frontier, I’m hyped. Can’t wait for May now. 🎉
User8:
Pokémon never really left people’s hearts, you know? This just proves it still holds up after all these years. Long live Ash and Pikachu!
Write a follow up where Fall 2007 brings a lot of new shows, Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation and Skunk Fu 3 of them
Topic: Fall 2007 is STACKED with New Shows on Kids WB!
User1 (OP):
Okay, did everyone see the Fall 2007 lineup for Kids WB? It’s INSANE! They’re rolling out so many new shows – Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation, and Skunk Fu! I wasn’t expecting this many fresh series all at once. What do you guys think?
User2:
Whoa, I just checked the schedule – they’ve packed it with so much new stuff!! I’m super curious about Magi-Nation. The trailer made it look kind of like a mix between Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Is anyone else hyped for that?
User3:
Magi-Nation does look cool, but I think Skunk Fu! is gonna be hilarious. A kung fu skunk fighting ninja monkeys and a dragon? Sign me up. 😂 Kids WB is really going for that mix of action and comedy this fall, huh?
User4:
Wait, am I the only one interested in Will and Dewitt? It looks a lot more "kiddie," but it seems super fun for Saturday mornings. Plus, it’s got that positive message vibe going on. I can see families really liking it.
User5:
Yeah, this lineup is ALL over the place in a good way. You’ve got shows for younger kids like Will and Dewitt, but then there’s Magi-Nation for us action-adventure fans. And Skunk Fu! just looks super unique. Honestly, I’m impressed Kids WB is stepping things up again.
User6:
Same! It feels like they’re going all in this year. I wasn’t expecting this many new shows in the same season. Most networks just add one or two new things and call it good. Kids WB really wants to shake things up this fall!
User7:
I’m mostly pumped for Magi-Nation. It looks like it could have some serious world-building and lore. The idea of magical creatures tied to the characters is SO my thing. Is it based on a game or something? It gives me Digimon vibes but seems more serious.
User2:
Yeah, Magi-Nation is based on a card game from the late 1990s! I think they’re reworking it with this show. If it’s half as good as the vibe it gives off, it’s gonna be amazing. I just hope Kids WB doesn’t mess up the airtimes like they’ve been known to, lol.
User3:
Meanwhile, Skunk Fu! is probably going to be my guilty pleasure. It reminds me of Kung Fu Panda but with more cartoon craziness. Kids WB has needed more laugh-out-loud type shows like this -- I’m so ready for Saturday mornings again!
User8:
Honestly, I’m just impressed they're still keeping things fresh. With all the competition from other channels like Cartoon Network, I was worried Kids WB might take a backseat. Nope, they’re really coming into Fall 2007 strong, and I’m here for it.
User5:
Agreed!! Between these new shows and fan favorites (Pokémon, The Batman, etc.), Saturday mornings are gonna be STACKED with good stuff this year. Can't wait to see how these shows do—fingers crossed for another epic season of Kids WB!
User7:
Imagine if all these shows become hits. Kids WB might dominate the whole Saturday morning lineup again like it did back in the early 2000s. If they can balance the new series with the classics, it’s game over for the competition.
User1 (OP):
Totally! I’ll be tuning in to all these for sure. Whether it’s Will and Dewitt for some chill laughs, Magi-Nation for epic adventures, or Skunk Fu! for kung fu animal nonsense, Fall 2007 is looking like one of the best seasons yet. Kids WB did NOT come to play this year!
Write a follow up asking what's the other new show joining besides them
Topic: So What’s the Other New Show Joining Kids WB This Fall?
User1 (OP):
Okay, so we know about Will and Dewitt, Magi-Nation, and Skunk Fu! joining the Kids WB Fall 2007 lineup… but wasn’t there supposed to be another new show added to the schedule? I swear I heard there would be four new series this season. Did I miss something?
User2:
Oh, good question! I remember reading something about a fourth show too, but I can’t think of what it is. Maybe I imagined it? Or maybe they’re holding back the announcement until closer to the fall?
User3:
You’re not imagining it! There is supposed to be another new show coming to Kids WB this fall. I just wish I could remember the name. I think it might’ve been action-based, though...? Anyone else know?
User4:
I think I read something about it in one of those early announcements. Isn’t it called World of Quest or something like that? I’m pretty sure it has fantasy and comedy mixed together. If that’s the one joining, it sounds kind of fun!
User5:
Wait, World of Quest? That does ring a bell! If it’s that one, I’m hyped. We’ve already got Magi-Nation filling the serious fantasy vibe, so if World of Quest is more on the funny side, it’ll balance things out. Kids WB is really mixing genres this time!
User6:
Yeah, it’s World of Quest! I just looked it up to double-check. It’s a fantasy-comedy about a young prince teaming up with a grumpy warrior to save the kingdom. It sounds kind of like Shrek humor mixed with medieval adventures. Definitely lighter compared to Magi-Nation.
User7:
Oh, that’s cool! A fantasy-comedy like that could be a lot of fun. Kids WB is really covering all the bases this year with these new shows—action, adventure, comedy, and even a bit of preschool content with Will and Dewitt. I gotta say, this is shaping up to be an awesome season!
User1 (OP):
Thanks for the info, guys! World of Quest sounds way better than I expected. A fantasy buddy-comedy is totally my thing. Between that and Magi-Nation, Fall 2007 is going to have SO much variety. I’ll definitely give all the new shows a shot!
User3:
Same here! I love that they’re trying out so many different genres this year. I just hope the new shows get good time slots, though. Sometimes Kids WB is weird about shuffling new series to odd hours. Fingers crossed World of Quest gets a decent slot!
User8:
Honestly, these new shows make Saturday mornings feel fresh again. It’s like a mini-reboot of Kids WB with so many new ideas! If even half of them are good, this might be one of the best fall lineups in years.
User4:
Agreed! World of Quest feels like it’ll add some laughs to the mix, and the lineup really does have something for everyone. I’m calling it now—Fall 2007 is gonna cement Kids WB as the Saturday morning spot!
Topic: Kids WB Fall 2007 Schedule – What’s the Plan?
User1 (OP):
Alright, everyone, the Fall 2007 lineup is here! Kids WB just dropped the new schedule, and HOLY COW, it’s packed with new shows and the returning classics. Here's the full Saturday morning schedule:
Kids WB Fall 2007 Schedule
07:00AM: Will and Dewitt (New)
07:30AM: Skunk Fu! (New)
08:00AM: Tom and Jerry Tales
08:30AM: Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!
09:00AM: Magi-Nation (New)
09:30AM: Johnny Test
10:00AM: Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl (New Season)
10:30AM: Legion of Super Heroes
11:00AM: World of Quest (New)
11:30AM: The Batman
Man, this lineup is STACKED. New and returning stuff, action, comedy, fantasy—you’ve got a little bit of everything. What do you think of this schedule?
User2:
Okay, first off, this schedule is AMAZING. I love how Will and Dewitt kicks things off for younger kids, and then the shows gradually get more intense for older audiences. They planned this lineup so well!
User3:
This is LEGIT! I’m hyped for Magi-Nation—that 9 AM slot is prime time for adventure shows. Also, World of Quest at 11? Perfect spot for a fantasy-comedy. And of course, Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl at 10 is perfect. No Saturday is complete without Pokémon.
User4:
I love seeing Skunk Fu! so early in the morning. It’s such a quirky, fun idea, and I think kids will love it. Plus, Tom and Jerry Tales is sticking around! Nothing beats classic slapstick first thing in the morning.
User5:
Wow, they really went all out with fantasy this year! Magi-Nation and World of Quest in the same lineup? I’m not complaining. And it’s crazy that The Batman is still holding strong—this show just keeps getting better every season.
User6:
Pokémon being front and center with Diamond and Pearl was the BEST decision. I’m loving the Sinnoh region so far, and you know everyone will be tuning in for that after a bowl of cereal. Also—Skunk Fu! and Johnny Test back-to-back is lowkey genius for mixing laughs with action.
User7:
Honestly, I feel like this is one of the most balanced Kids WB schedules we’ve had in years. There’s something for every type of kid—comics/superheroes with The Batman and Legion of Super Heroes, fantasy with Magi-Nation, humor with Skunk Fu! and Johnny Test, and of course, the Pokémon juggernaut holding it all together.
User1 (OP):
Right?? I’m seriously impressed. They put so much thought into making this lineup feel fresh while still keeping fan favorites around. I’m personally most excited for Magi-Nation (looks so epic!) and the new Diamond and Pearl episodes. But I’ll definitely be tuning in for Skunk Fu! and World of Quest, too.
User3:
The real question will be how this lineup competes with stuff on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. Saturday mornings aren’t the same battle they used to be, but this schedule might actually bring more kids back to Kids WB!
User8:
Kids WB crushed it this fall, no question. That 10-11:30 block (Pokémon, Legion of Super Heroes, and World of Quest) is going to be pure fire. If they promote these shows right, this could be a MASSIVE season for their lineup.
User2:
Can we also appreciate that Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! is still hanging in there? I know it split fans, but c'mon, it's still Scooby! It’s cool that Kids WB isn’t afraid to try a mix of old and new every year.
User4:
Totally agree. I like how this new lineup feels like the perfect blend of nostalgia (Tom and Jerry Tales, Pokémon) and fresh ideas (Magi-Nation, Skunk Fu!, World of Quest). This is the reason Kids WB is still top-tier after all these years!
User1 (OP):
Yep, Fall 2007 is looking like one of the strongest Kids WB seasons ever. Let’s just hope all these new shows hold their own—because if they’re even half as awesome as they look, Saturday mornings are gonna be AMAZING. What are you all tuning in for first? :)
Topic: Monster Allergy Off the Schedule – Kinda Saw That Coming
User1 (OP):
So, it's official—Monster Allergy is off the Fall 2007 lineup. I can't say I'm *too* surprised, though. Honestly, I kind of expected it to get the axe, especially after February's big news. I mean, the reversal of that massive mistake this season? You could tell its days were numbered after that. The reversal took effect in May, and let’s just say… yeah, it wasn’t looking good after that. What do you guys think?
User2:
Totally saw this coming too. Monster Allergy just never really found its groove, and when they decided to undo that February "decision," it was pretty much over for the show. I liked parts of it, but it never really grabbed me, you know?
User3:
Yeah, after they made that "correction" in May, it was kinda the beginning of the end for Monster Allergy. Like OP said, it was a massive mistake on their part earlier in the season—putting the show in a bad time slot. That killed any chance it might have had. They tried to fix it, but by then, it was probably too late.
User4:
I actually liked Monster Allergy! I thought it had potential, but that horrible time slot at the start of the season just did it in. No one was watching it back then. Even after they fixed it in May and gave it a better chance… I dunno, maybe the damage was already done.
User5:
Yeah, Monster Allergy was kind of doomed from the start. It’s a cool concept, but not every show can pull off the action-comedy mix the way Kids WB wanted it to. Plus, the competition from other shows on Cartoon Network and Disney XD didn’t help. This reversal just sealed its fate.
User6:
It’s sad, though. Monster Allergy had moments where you could tell it could’ve been something really good. But the way Kids WB handled it early on was rough. It’s like they didn’t know how to market it properly or who the audience was supposed to be. By the time May came around and they fixed their mistake, it was too little, too late. 😕
User1 (OP):
Exactly! The February decision to bury it in such a bad early time slot just drained any hype Monster Allergy might’ve had. And when they finally *reversed* that decision in May, I had a feeling the damage was permanent. At that point, even *I* stopped watching regularly—and I was one of the people who liked it early on!
User3:
It’s like they wanted Monster Allergy to fail. The time slot change was a good move in May, but it was too late to save it. People had already moved on by then. I guess with all the new shows coming in Fall 2007, Kids WB probably thought it wasn’t worth trying to promote Monster Allergy anymore.
User4:
Yep, once they announced all these shiny new shows for fall, Monster Allergy was basically erased quietly. They didn’t even say much about it officially—it just kind of disappeared. Makes me wonder if they’ll ever give it another chance on a different platform, though.
User7:
Unpopular opinion here: Monster Allergy wasn’t *bad*, but it didn’t feel like it belonged on Kids WB. The tone was kind of off compared to their other shows. I could see it fitting better on a network like Toon Disney or even Nickelodeon. But here? It didn’t quite match the vibe.
User5:
I kind of agree with that. I mean, we’ve got big hitters like Magi-Nation and Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl coming in for fall, and those just feel way more "Kids WB" than Monster Allergy ever did. It sucks, but it makes sense they let it go.
User8:
Kids WB really cleaned up its lineup after the February misstep, though. You gotta give them credit—fixing their mistake in May was a good call, even if it wasn’t enough to save Monster Allergy. Now with the Fall 2007 schedule, everything feels more solid and thought out. They’re laser-focused on building the best block, which, sadly, didn’t include Monster Allergy.
User1 (OP):
Exactly. Monster Allergy just wasn’t cutting it after that rocky start, and reversing that move in May only saved face for Kids WB—not the show. Do I wish they gave it more of a chance with better promotion? Sure. Do I think it could’ve survived up against the Fall 2007 lineup? Probably not. This fall is STACKED, and it just didn’t fit in with what they’re going for.
User6:
At least they learned their lesson, though. That February mistake was a wake-up call for them, and you can tell they’re putting way more thought into their new shows and schedule now. Hopefully Kids WB can find more ways to avoid shows like Monster Allergy falling through the cracks in the future.
User4:
Agreed. Sometimes it’s not the fault of the show—it’s the way it’s handled by the network. Here’s hoping Kids WB keeps this momentum going and focuses on giving all their new stuff a fighting chance!
Write a follow up asking what the reversal was, The mistake was made in September, it's reversal wad announced in Feb, took affect in May and became extremely apparent in Fall
ASSISTANT
**Topic: What Was the Big Reversal That Hurt Monster Allergy?**
User1 (OP):
Okay, so we’ve been talking about how Monster Allergy kinda got doomed after that *massive mistake* in September and Kids WB’s reversal in February. The reversal took full effect in May and, honestly, became super obvious in the Fall lineup with the reshuffling and additions. BUT, what was the big "reversal," exactly? I feel like I missed something. Can someone explain?
---
User2:
Oh man, it was such a mess. The "mistake" was that in September, Kids WB moved some **major heavyweights** (like Pokémon: Battle Frontier and The Batman) to these odd, random time slots while giving Monster Allergy a key *mid-morning* spot, like 9 AM. It seemed like they were trying to push Monster Allergy hard as a top-tier show—but it backfired HARD.
By February, they apparently realized nobody was sticking around to watch Monster Allergy, and the big hitters were suffering in those weak time slots. So, they announced they were reversing it and moving Pokémon and The Batman back to more "premium" slots, starting in May. Monster Allergy was basically demoted to a less important block once that happened.
---
User3:
Yeah, honestly, the September decision to put Monster Allergy in a prime morning spot shocked everyone. Don't get me wrong—I *like* Monster Allergy, but it wasn’t strong enough to hold that kind of lineup weight. The ratings tanked for both it **and** the shows that got weird time slots because of it, like Pokémon and The Batman. Once February rolled around, Kids WB knew they had messed up bad, and by May, they had officially fixed the lineup.
In May, Pokémon got its golden 10 AM slot back, and The Batman went back to 10:30, which REALLY hurt Monster Allergy. It went to something like 7:30 or 8 in the morning—a death slot for a show trying to build an audience. So yeah, the reversal helped the big shows but left Monster Allergy out in the cold.
---
User4:
Exactly! The issue wasn’t just Monster Allergy—it was Kids WB **trying too hard** to make it their "next big thing" right out of the gate in September. The weird time slots for *proven* hits like Pokémon and The Batman forced their fans to adjust—and most people didn’t. Ratings dipped across the board because of it. Plus, while Monster Allergy had potential, it wasn’t exactly something that’d pull in millions of viewers instantly.
When they announced they were reversing all the Fall 2006 lineup changes in February, I was like, "Yep, Monster Allergy is done." By May, it was super obvious—the show was pushed out of the spotlight, and again in Fall 2007, it just disappeared entirely because they had stronger shows coming in.
---
User5:
Honestly, that September shuffle was a HUGE gamble from Kids WB that didn’t pay off. It was like they wanted Monster Allergy to be their next *Pokémon* or *Yu-Gi-Oh!*, giving it a prime mid-morning spot, but instead, it just weakened the entire block. Moving everything back to normal in May was the right call, but at that point, Monster Allergy was collateral damage.
Fall made the whole thing even *more* apparent because Pokémon: Diamond and Pearl took back the top slot, The Batman kept its place, and the rest of the schedule had all-new shows like Magi-Nation and Skunk Fu!. Monster Allergy just couldn’t keep up.
---
User6:
Yep, September was wild. Pretty much, Kids WB gave Monster Allergy a premium slot it wasn’t ready for and shuffled the classic hits into times where people didn’t watch them. Fans were MAD about Pokémon being pushed earlier in the morning and about The Batman not holding its usual spot. The ratings dip was noticeable from the start.
By February, it was obvious the strategy wasn’t working, so they *publicly* announced the change—that the heavy hitters would go back to their "proper" slots in May. The result? Monster Allergy’s demotion, where it eventually just faded out once the Fall lineup embraced all those new shows they teased.
---
User7:
I’ll be honest—I remember being SO confused when Monster Allergy was on in the middle of the morning while Pokémon was airing earlier, like 8:30 or something, in Fall 2006. I was like, "Wait, what?" It felt really weird seeing *Pokémon* outside its usual time slot—and that was reflected in the ratings. Monster Allergy struggled to live up to the standards of its placement while the other big franchises lost viewers because they were airing at awkward times.
Reversing it was ABSOLUTELY the right move, but as soon as they announced the reversal in February, I knew Monster Allergy wasn’t going to survive. By May, it was bumped to a weaker slot and barely felt like part of the lineup anymore.
---
User1 (OP):
Wow, that makes so much sense now. I didn’t realize the September decision was to push Pokémon and The Batman into weaker slots just to highlight Monster Allergy. That was such a risky move—and obviously, it didn’t pay off. The reversal in February basically saved the block, but yeah, it’s clear Monster Allergy just never recovered. Thanks for explaining, guys!
---
User3:
No problem! Yeah, it was one of those cases where the network bet on a newcomer and ended up shooting itself in the foot. They tried to fix it, but Monster Allergy just couldn’t bounce back, especially with the fallings-out in May and Fall 2007. Like I said before, it wasn’t a BAD show—it just didn’t have the magic to carry a whole block, especially with all the lineup drama.
---
User5:
Honestly, I admire Kids WB for taking a chance with a new show like Monster Allergy, but shuffling the heavy hitters was a bad call. At least they realized their mistake and course-corrected—though it came at Monster Allergy’s expense. Fall 2007’s lineup looks so much better balanced as a result. Kids WB might’ve taken a hit, but it’s clear they’re bouncing back stronger now.
