remove unnecessary characters, check for punctuation, grammar and spelling. on this video I'm going to show you the basic building blocks to building a successful six S 8 figure business or Beyond there are nine foundational fundamentals of building a six seven eight figure business and Beyond and I'm going to share with you these nine fundamentals and it's I I find it interesting to me anyway that there are nine fundamentals because every bu every number has significance one is the number of unity two is the number of Separation three is the number of God four is the number of the earth five is the number of Grace or and six is the number of man also the number of falsehood seven is the number of completion eight is the number of abundance infinity and Eternity and nine is the number for truth so I'm about to break down the truth about how to build a sixf figureure business a seven figureure business an eight figure business and Beyond and it's not easy but it's very straightforward and but if you're making 30,000 or 40,000 or 50,000 or 80,000 a year that ain't easy either so why do people expect it to be easy to build a six figureure business or a seven figure business or an eight figureure business when what they're doing now that's making less than that ain't easy well I wish I had some helping here so there are nine fund fundamental nine fundamental principles that if you follow them nine fundamentals that when you master them you're on your way to building 6 7 8 or 9 8 10 11 whatever figure business um there are three fundamentals in sales there are three fundamentals in marketing there are three fundamentals in branding now I'm going to say this people talk about sales and marketing all the time but actually when you're actually building the business it's more accurately stated marketing and sales than sales and marketing but I'm going to talk about sales first
ASSISTANT
On this video, I'm going to show you the basic building blocks for creating a successful six, seven, or eight-figure business and beyond. There are nine foundational fundamentals of building such a business, and I'm going to share these with you.

I find it interesting that there are nine fundamentals because every number has significance. One is the number of unity. Two is the number of separation. Three is the number of God. Four is the number of the earth. Five is the number of grace. Six is the number of man and also falsehood. Seven is the number of completion. Eight is the number of abundance, infinity, and eternity. Nine is the number of truth.

So, I'm about to break down the truth about how to build a six, seven, eight-figure business and beyond. It's not easy, but it's very straightforward. If you're making $30,000, $40,000, $50,000, or $80,000 a year, that's not easy either. So why do people expect it to be easy to build a six, seven, or eight-figure business when what they're doing now to earn less than that isn't easy?

I wish I had some help here. There are nine fundamental principles. If you follow them and master them, you're on your way to building a six, seven, eight, or even a nine, ten, or eleven-figure business. There are three fundamentals in sales, three in marketing, and three in branding.

Now, I'll say this: people talk about sales and marketing all the time, but when you're building the business, it's more accurate to say marketing and sales rather than sales and marketing. However, I'm going to talk about sales first.

even though Marketing in actually doing business comes first but in actually becoming an entrepreneur sales skills are the skills you need to develop first are you tracking so so marketing and sales is how a business would be optimal in applying these principles by applying marketing principles before they apply sales principles but in becoming an entrepreneur learning sales skills comes before learning marketing skills because if you get good at marketing which is first but you don't get good at sales all you're going to do is attract a bunch of people to you and then not convert them so we're going to talk about sales first so as we talk about sales the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to give you the definition of selling of sales sales is and by the way you're not going to find this in any dictionary unless it's the myON golden dictionary of business okay that's where only place you're going to find it but this is the definition that I've given sales based on my observation of making millions of dollars in sales one one millions of dollars in sales um from online and millions of dollars in sales from the platform like selling on stage I've made Millions from all those Arenas and I'm telling you that my definition of sales is the best definition of sales I've ever found so I'm going to say it a couple times so you can write it down here it is selling is uncovering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value you've revealed I'm going to say it again selling is uncovering the value by the way that means if there is no value there can be no selling you might be able to con people if you don't have any value you might be able to convince people if you have no value but you didn't sell them selling is uncovering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value that you've revealed now here's what's really cool most people don't like to sell how many yall would agree with that most people don't like to sell right most people don't like to sell there's only one alternative to selling and that is buying which means that most people only like to buy
ASSISTANT
Even though marketing is essential when actually doing business, developing sales skills is crucial for becoming an entrepreneur. Are you following? While applying marketing principles before sales can optimize a business, in entrepreneurship, one must first develop sales skills. If you excel at marketing but lack sales skills, you'll attract many people without converting them.

We're going to focus on sales first. Let me start by giving you the definition of selling. You won't find this definition in any dictionary except for the Myron Golden Dictionary of Business. Based on my experience of making millions of dollars in sales both online and on stage, I believe this is the best definition of sales I've encountered:

Selling is uncovering the value of what you have to offer so effectively that people are eager to exchange the money in their pockets for the value you've revealed. I'll repeat it: Selling is uncovering the value of what you have to offer so effectively that people are eager to exchange the money in their pockets for the value you've revealed.

It's important to note that without value, there can be no true selling. You might be able to con or convince people if you lack value, but you wouldn't have genuinely sold to them.

Most people don't like to sell, right? Many would agree with that. There's only one alternative to selling, and that is buying, which means most people prefer to buy.

I'm G to let that marinade for a minute there are there's a small group of us that love to sell now I love to sell and if if you don't love to sell like I would recommend that you do to selling what I'm doing with the gym learn to love it like I I'm learning to love working out I came home last night from my daughter's house and I went out there and I tow myself up yes I did why because I'm learning to love working out yeah you know why cuz I like how I feel when I work out I like how I feel about myself after I work out I don't know necessarily like how I feel right and so like selling is covering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value that that you've revealed now if you find yourself feeling like you have to beg people or convince people or congeal people or coax people to buy it's because you did not do a good job selling because selling is not convincing convincing is the opposite of selling selling is persuasion persuasion is not a synonym for convincing persuasion is persuading is an antonym for convincing what do I mean convincing is when I attempt to get you to do something I desire you to do for my reasons persuasion is when I help you make a decision you already desire to make for your own reasons see if you will trust that people are smart and you will trust that they know what they desire to have and when you present to them you only present to them solutions they desire desire that to have for problems they know they already have then they will be happy to buy from you it's not this is not rocket science it's like let's put the square peg in the square hole let's put the round peg in the round hole let's just go ahead and match everything up because here's what I realize people already desire what they already desire now I know that doesn't sound that profound but it really is did you ever think about the fact that for most of your life at least when you first got a job when you first started working the reason you started working there was something you desired to have that you couldn't have cuz your parents wouldn't buy it for you and they said well if you want that you got to go get a job and so you knew what you desired to have before you even started doing the work to make the money to buy it that's right right well guess
ASSISTANT
I'll let that marinate for a moment. There's a small group of us who love to sell, and I'm one of them. If you don't love to sell, I recommend you approach it like I do with working out: learn to love it. I've been learning to enjoy exercising. Last night, after visiting my daughter, I worked out hard. Why? Because I'm learning to love the process and how I feel afterward. Selling is similar: it's about revealing the value of what you have so effectively that people are happy to exchange their money for that value.

If you find yourself needing to beg, convince, or coax people to buy, it's because you haven't done a good job at selling. Selling is not about convincing; it's about persuasion. Persuasion is not the same as convincing; in fact, they are opposites. Convincing is trying to get someone to do what you want for your reasons, while persuasion is helping someone make a decision they already want to make for their own reasons.

Trust that people are smart and know what they desire. When you present solutions to the problems they recognize, they will be happy to buy from you. It's not rocket science; it's about matching the right solutions to the right problems.

People already desire what they desire. It may not sound profound, but it is. Consider this: when you first began working, it was because there was something you wanted that your parents wouldn't buy for you. They told you to get a job if you wanted it. You knew what you desired before you even started working to earn the money to buy it, right?

what that's millions of people in the world there are already right now hundreds thousands tens of thousands potentially hundreds of thousands or millions of people in the world who would love toy what you'd love to sell if they only knew you existed and so you got to develop the skill of selling what's selling uncovering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value you've revealed now why would people be happy this is a good question now why would be people be happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for Value that you've uncovered for them why would they be happy to do that here's why because the the value is this big and the amount of money that you want for that value is only this big and by the way it doesn't matter what price you put in here see those of you who think price matters the reason you think price matters is because you've never learned how to sell what does that mean that means you think people buy prices people don't buy prices they agree to prices and buy Solutions nobody buys a drill because they want a drill they buy a drill because they want a hole nobody buys a saw cuz they want a saw they buy a saw because they want a shorter board or a shorter piece of metal people don't buy prices they buy Solutions the solution to their problem is the value the see see here's the problem we think that the word value is in itself value like I just I want to provide so much value the word value is not value it's not valuable to anybody but you who want people to think that because you said that they get it but the reality is the value is only as valuable as the solution to the problem that they know they have yes so if you don't know what problem they have and you've not obsessed over it and you don't know how to solve it then you really don't have the ability to sell them you might be able to talk them out of their money or you might be able to talk them into your into your widget but you didn't sell them anything until you've shown them that I have the best most elegant most efficient most optimal solution to your problem uncovering the value what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value revealed so we talked about selling the definition of selling but we keep using this word value so where does value come from we've heard we've all heard the phrase right that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder well value is in the mind of the buyer did I say that too fast what do you mean values in the mind of the buyer they know what they value and they knew what they valued before you ever drove up and because you drove up with this Briefcase full of stuff doesn't mean they're going to Value it because you told them it was valuable so where do values come from I'm going to tell you where I believe values come from you can agree or disagree if you agree congratulations if you disagree I'll give you time to catch up I'm just kidding kind of okay so so where do values come from I believe that as I've thought about it and I believe me I've thought about it lot I've thought about a lot of stuff a lot so I believe that the first place that values come from is past perceived voids create present pursued values what does that mean past perceived voids create present pursued values what that means is if I perceive something was missing in my past that I desired to have in that present if I never fulfilled that desire that desire is still there.
ASSISTANT
Right now, there are potentially hundreds of thousands, even millions, of people who would love what you offer, if only they knew you existed. You need to develop the skill of selling, which, as I've mentioned, is uncovering the value of what you have to offer so effectively that people are happy to exchange their money for the value you've revealed.

Why would people be happy to do this? Because the value you offer is significant, whereas the money they part with is comparatively small. Some mistakenly think that price is the most critical factor. However, people don't buy based solely on price; they agree to prices but actually buy solutions. For example, no one buys a drill because they want the drill itself—they buy it because they need a hole. Similarly, a saw is purchased not for the tool but for shortening a board or metal. People purchase based on the solutions that address their problems.

It's essential to understand that merely stating something provides "value" isn't enough. The term "value" is only relevant if it addresses the solution to a problem buyers recognize. If you don't understand their issues or haven't devised a way to solve them, then you can't truly sell to them. You might persuade them to part with their money or to buy your product, but it won't be through genuine selling until you've convincingly demonstrated that your product is the best solution to their problem.

We often hear phrases like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Similarly, value is in the mind of the buyer. Buyers know what they value, and they knew it even before encountering your product. Just because you present something and call it valuable doesn’t mean they'll see it that way.

So, where do values come from? I believe that past perceived voids create present pursued values. In other words, if I felt something was missing in my past that I desired at that time and never fulfilled that desire, the yearning persists. Understanding this principle can help you identify the real values your product needs to address.

so I recently I say recently probably eight months ago I bought my dream car it's a 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible see see see okay uh-huh yeah that yeah uh-huh uh-huh yeah now now why was that my dream car cuz my friend my friend Stan his brother Lonnie it wasn't a convertible but he had a 68 GTO and I wanted to buy that car from him so bad he'd never sell it to me so I've been I I literally was looking for years for a 68 ponc GTO and I found this Pontiac GTO convertible Facebook Marketplace went and looked at it test drove it and oh my goodness I'm like oh I got to have this car and so I bought it why because it was something that I desired to have in the past and I'm a I'm a car guy I like cars I like really nice cars I have some nice cars why do I like nice cars well when I was growing up my parents never bought a new car we always drove old raggedy beaters when I was in high school I would drive my younger brothers and I to school in this I don't know it's like a 60 like a 67 or 68 somewhere between 1967 and 72 Buick Electra 225 it was like a beige color the car was but it had like four different color doors different color Hood right and we went to this small Christian school but it was what I I was happy to have a car to drive right but the kids at school made fun of my car it wasn't my car but it was a car that my parents let me drive to school and they called it the golden getaway mobile and I I just didn't I'm I'm like I like nice cars and I used to work on cars because I'd like to take the cars that I bought and make them nice and so when I had an opportunity to buy a nice car I bought nice cars why because past perceived voids create present pursued values does that make sense so when you feel like something's missing in the past it causes you to desire it in the present okay that's number one number two um I I'm gonna have to get into this is all introductory stuff I'm GNA I'm going to get into the lesson here in a minute okay the second place is present perceived virtues create present pursued values what does that mean things that I believe are good right now are things that I desire things that I value if I think something is good I value it if I think something is bad I don't value it like people offer me stuff like they they offer to sell me stuff but I don't want to buy it so it's not valuable why don't I want to buy it because it's not something I perceive as good at least not for me not right now people come to me with business opportunities all the time oh Mar but I I can help you make $100,000 a day I don't care I don't care why somebody just offered me something recently I don't even remember what it was but I just remembered it was a hard no oh yeah somebody sent me a message about um buying some real estate internationally no I'm not interested why because it will slow the momentum that I have in the thing that I know about to go learn about something I know nothing about like I don't want to diffuse my energy it's not that it's not valuable it's just that it's not valuable to me right why because it's not something that be good for me right now where I am right now why cuz all good money ain't good just because something makes a lot of money is not doesn't make it a good investment for me anyway so present perceived virtues create present pursued values.
ASSISTANT
About eight months ago, I bought my dream car—a 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible. Why was this my dream car? My friend Stan's brother, Lonnie, had a 1968 GTO (not a convertible), and I always wanted to buy it from him, but he never sold it to me. I searched for years and finally found a Pontiac GTO convertible on Facebook Marketplace. After seeing it and test-driving it, I knew I had to have it. I bought it because it fulfilled a long-standing desire.

I'm a car enthusiast and love nice cars. Growing up, my family only drove old, beat-up vehicles. In high school, I drove my brothers to school in a beat-up Buick Electra 225, which had mismatched doors and hood. Though grateful to have a car to drive, my classmates mocked it, calling it the "Golden Getaway Mobile." This experience fueled my passion for nice cars, which I see as valuable because of past perceived voids.

This brings me to a concept: past perceived voids create present pursued values. When you feel something was missing from your past, it often becomes a desire in the present.

Now, let's move to another concept: present perceived virtues create present pursued values. Things I believe are good right now are things I desire and value. If I perceive something as good, I value it; if not, I don't. For example, people frequently offer me business opportunities, but I decline those that don't align with what I value. Someone recently suggested buying international real estate, but I wasn't interested. Not because it lacked potential value, but because it didn't align with my current focus. I prefer not to dilute my energy by branching into unfamiliar areas.

In short, something may be valuable, but if it doesn't align with my current perceptions of what's good for me, I won't pursue it. Present perceived virtues create present pursued values, meaning that what we currently see as good informs what we seek out and value.

then lastly future future perceived Visions create present pursued values what does that mean if there's something I desire to have in the future then that will cause me to Value it enough in the present to spend money for it in the present because I believe it's going to turn out good in the future so if the thing that I'm selling to somebody fills a past perceived void a present Perce perceived virtue or a future perceived Vision then it's valuable to them is is this helpful yes okay I don't want to just be saying a bunch of words right I want this will be beneficial okay so that's the definition of selling uncovering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange the money they have in their pocket for the value You' revealed now here's what we're going to do we're going to look at three fundamentals in selling that will get you help you become better at selling now I'm really good at selling because one of the primary Reasons I'm good at selling I know this is going to sound very um paradoxical one of the reasons I'm good at selling is because I never try to make a sale that's one of the things that makes me so good at selling because I'm not trying get anybody to buy all I'm doing is sorting and sifting what does that mean I'm going through the numbers and letting the people who are ready self-identify I'm not talking to anybody into or out of anything and if I'm going to talk them into or out of something I'll talk them out of buying from me before I'll talk them into it because if I got to drag you in then I got to drag you around and I don't want to do that so here's how you get good at selling number one you have to have the proper sales perspective what is the proper sales perspective people desire to buy what people desire to buy and they only desire to buy what you desire to sell when what you desire to sell is what they already desire to buy this is so good man if somebody would have taught me this when I first got started child please I like I remember I learned this by the way when I was doing network marketing people say well Mar I'm thinking about joining your team I'm thinking about joining somebody else's team this other person's team how do I know which one is right oh that's easy join theirs you say you didn't say that every time well don't you want me to join your nope if you don't know which one's best join theirs that's that's an easy decision in fact I'll give them a call and let them know you're coming you want me to call them let him know you're like I'm done like you waiting for me to talk you into it see here's what here's here's what you don't realize people want you to come after them so they can tell you no so guess what I do I tell them no I ain't coming after you AA la vista baby okay so proper sales perspective is I'm not trying to get anybody to buy .
ASSISTANT
Lastly, future perceived visions create present pursued values. This means if there's something you desire in the future, that future vision can cause you to value it enough right now to spend money on it. You believe it will result in a positive outcome in the future. Therefore, if what you're selling meets a past perceived void, a present perceived virtue, or a future perceived vision, it holds value for the buyer.

Is this helpful? I hope so, as I aim to provide practical insights rather than just words.

That's the definition of selling: uncovering the value of what you have to offer so well that people are happy to exchange their money for it. Now let's discuss three fundamentals that can improve your selling skills.

The first fundamental is having the proper sales perspective. Interestingly, I'm effective at selling because I never try to make a sale. That might sound paradoxical, but I focus on sorting and sifting, allowing people ready to buy to self-identify. I'm not about persuading anyone into or out of buying. If I have to drag someone into a purchase, I'll end up having to drag them around later, and that’s not sustainable.

To have the proper sales perspective, recognize that people desire to buy what they want to buy. They will only want to buy what you're selling if it aligns with their existing desires.

I learned this lesson in network marketing. When people asked, "Should I join your team or someone else's?" I advised them to join the other team if they were unsure. This approach ensured I didn't have to convince anyone to join me who wasn't already convinced.

People often want you to chase them just so they can reject you. So instead, I let them go. By maintaining a proper sales perspective, I'm not trying to convince anyone to buy. Instead, I focus on aligning what I offer with what people already desire.

I'm just putting my offer out there in front of enough people the ones who already want it are going to S take it and the ones who don't want which means the ones who don't desire the thing that I have they'll leave me alone makes me so happy I have more time to practice my guitar I have more time to play golf I have more time to hang out with my wife I have more time to play with my grandbaby I got more time to do whatever I desire to do instead of uh spending all my time hustling and grinding and talking to people into buying my stuff not me you have to have the proper sales perspective people will always pay for what they perceive is of greater value than the money to them it's so easy number two so that's that's a proper sales perspective so stop trying to talk people and buying your stuff stop be stop having commission breath stop being desperate man but if you buy if you buy you can make this commission check nobody cares about you making a commission check but you and your spouse and your kids stop asking people to do you a favor and listen to your presentation do yourself a favor don't be so needy okay sorry I got a little got a little grandfatherly there pump the brakes okay that's principle number one principle number two you have to have that's the fundamental number one you have to have proper sales perspective I promise you if you'll get this down it'll change the game for you forever what is that there are already out there in the world right now at least worst case scenario if you got something valuable worst case scenario there are tens of thousands of people in the world already who would love to buy from you so make thyself known okay number two two proper sales positioning so I'm I'm going to teach you something if indeed you don't position your offer besides something that's less valuable and more expensive your client will position your offer besides something that's less expensive and less valuable what does that mean if you don't give your prospect something to compare your offer to they're always going to compare it to something that costs less absolutely so one of the reasons some some of y'all think you're bad at selling when in reality you're just bad at the positioning part of selling you're great at presenting but you're bad at selling which I'm going to get to that next so if you have the wrong sales perspective and you have bad positioning you are climbing Mount Everest of selling one of the reasons selling feels effortless to me is reason number one I only sell what people desire to buy people say to me mar what do you sell my answer is always the same depends what do you want to buy because that's all I want to sell you then they don't position their offer besides anything I position my offer beside depends on what the offer is.
ASSISTANT
I'm just putting my offer out there, and those who want it will take it, while those who don't will leave me alone. This approach gives me more time to enjoy my hobbies, like playing guitar or golf, and spending quality time with my family. Instead of spending all my time hustling and trying to convince people to buy, I focus on presenting my offer to those already interested.

Having the proper sales perspective is essential. People will always pay for what they perceive as having greater value than the money they're spending. So, stop trying to talk people into buying your stuff. Avoid the desperation often referred to as "commission breath." Remember, people don't care about your commission check; that's only relevant to you and your family. Don't ask people to do you a favor by listening to your pitch; instead, do yourself a favor by not being needy.

That's the first fundamental: the proper sales perspective. If you master this, it will change the game for you. There are tens of thousands of people who would love to buy from you if your offer is valuable. Your task is to make yourself known.

The second fundamental is proper sales positioning. If you don't position your offer alongside something less valuable and more expensive, your clients will compare it to something less expensive and less valuable. Always give prospects a point of comparison. If you don't, they'll compare your offer to something cheaper.

Some people think they struggle with selling when their real issue is positioning. They might be great at presenting but poor at selling due to ineffective positioning. Selling feels effortless to me because I only offer what people want to buy. When people ask what I sell, I respond with, "It depends. What do you want to buy?" I position my offer based on what the potential buyer values.

If you grasp these fundamentals of perspective and positioning, selling becomes much more straightforward. You'll no longer feel as if you're constantly climbing a mountain when trying to make a sale.
