Natsuki: “Jeez, I hope I find my friends soon.”
(Natsuki notices a strange-looking piece of bark - it looked edible.)
Natsuki: “Finally, some good food around here.”
(Natsuki eats the strange-looking bark, satisfying her hunger. Just then, her skin turns into scales - causing her to be immune to the intense heat of the desert.)
Natsuki: “Whoa! What just happened to me? Did this bark… give me some kind of power?”
(Natsuki examines her newfound scales, marveling at how they shimmer under the blazing sun. Excitement fills her as she realizes the possibilities that come with her new immunity to the desert’s heat.)
Natsuki: “Maybe this can help me find my friends faster! I can explore areas they could never reach.”
(With a newfound sense of purpose, Natsuki ventures deeper into the desert, her scales protecting her from the scorching sands. As night falls, she comes across a massive cavern - it was completely empty.)
Natsuki: “…well this looks like a nice place to sleep.”
(Natsuki settles down in the cavern, the coolness of the air soothing her tired body. As she drifts off to sleep, she dreams of her friends and the adventures they had together.)
(Meanwhile, in the distant tundra biome…)
Yuri: “I can’t believe we got separated like this. I hope everyone is safe.”
(Yuri trudges through the unforgiving snow, searching for any sign of her friends. Her body shivers with each gust of icy wind, causing her to wonder how much longer she can endure the freezing temperatures.)
Yuri: “If only I had some sort of protection from this cold. I can’t give up though. I have to find them.”
(Suddenly, Yuri spots a little ball of fur growing near a strange-looking structure. Its most likely edible. Yuri cautiously approaches the ball of fur, curiosity mingled with hunger. She plucks it from the ground and inspects it, her fingers numb from the bitter cold.)
Yuri: “Hmm, maybe this will provide some sustenance. I hope it’s not poisonous.”
(She takes a hesitant bite and immediately, a warmth spreads through her body. Her frozen limbs regain feeling, and she feels a surge of energy. Her entire body is now covered with fur colored just like her hair - protecting her from the extreme cold.)
Yuri: “Oh my… This is incredible! Did this little ball of fur give me the ability to withstand the cold?”
(Yuri runs her fingers through her new fur, feeling the softness and warmth it provides. She now feels confident that she can continue her search for her friends without being hindered by the freezing temperatures.)

Natsuki: “I ate some strange bark, and it turned my skin into scales. Now I’m immune to the heat.”

Natsuki: “You’re right, Sayori. Let’s continue our search and bring Monika back.”

Monika: (Startled) "Natsuki? Yuri? Sayori? Is it really you? I've been trapped here, unable to move or communicate. But I've witnessed the incredible power you all possess."
Natsuki: "Monika, what happened to you? And who or what is this serpent?"
Monika: "I stumbled upon this pillar, and when I touched it, my body fused with the essence of this ancient serpent. I can now communicate with it, harness its power, and shape the environment around us."
Yuri: "That's incredible, Monika. We’ve all gained unique abilities too. Together, we have the power to overcome any challenge."
Sayori: (Gazing at the serpent) "Oh, it looks amazing. But can we trust it?"
Monika: "I've formed a bond with it, and it seems to possess ancient knowledge. I believe it can guide us in finding our remaining friends."
Natsuki: "Then let's join forces and free all of them. We’re stronger together, just like old times."
