Forum Thread: New CW Block: A French Invasion?
—
User1: Hey, did anyone hear about 4Kids keeping the CW block? I thought for sure Toonzai was going to make a comeback.
User2: Yeah, I heard about that! But apparently, they’re not bringing Toonzai back. Instead, they’re rebranding using one of France 3’s old kids blocks. Anyone know which one?
User3: I think it’s something that ended around 2006. Could it be “France Truc”? That was a big deal back then, right?
User4: Wow, France Truc! That’s a blast from the past! I didn’t even know people outside of France remember it. How are they planning to adapt that for an American audience?
User5: Good question. I assume they’ll have to tweak quite a bit. But 4Kids has experience with localization, just look at what they did with anime. Although, not always for the better…
User6: True, but if they handle it right, it could be refreshing. There’s definitely a charm to European animation that isn’t always present in American shows.
User7: I’m curious about the lineup. Do you think they’ll bring over any original French shows, or will they mix it with some American content?
User1: Knowing 4Kids, they’ll probably do a bit of both. I wouldn’t be surprised if they dubbed shows that were popular on France Truc and sprinkled in some American cartoons.
User3: I hope they keep some of the original French shows; they had a unique style. Maybe something like “Code Lyoko” if they still have the rights.
User4: Oh, they HAVE to bring Code Lyoko back. It was part of the Cartoon Network lineup back in the day, but I think there’s still an audience for it.
User8: I’m just glad 4Kids still has the block. I was worried when they started losing licenses and had that financial trouble. It’s nice to see them trying something new.
User5: Agreed. Fresh branding might actually be just what they need to stay competitive. Plus it’s cool to see French media get some love over here.
User6: Definitely. Well, let’s hope they do it justice! It’ll be interesting to see how they market it and what kind of animation style they opt for.
User7: Fingers crossed! Looking forward to seeing some of the promos soon. Here’s to hoping for great Saturday mornings again!
User1: Same here! Let’s keep this thread updated once more info drops. Can’t wait to see how this plays out.
Write a follow up confirming what branding will be used for CW4Kids Mark 3
Forum Thread: Follow-Up: New Branding for CW4Kids Mark 3 Revealed!
—
User1: Hey everyone, exciting news! We finally got confirmation on what the new branding for CW4Kids Mark 3 will be. It’s official: they’re going with “F3X”.
User2: F3X? Sounds interesting. Does it stand for something specific, or are they just riffing off the France Truc vibe?
User3: I think it plays off the France 3 connection, with “F3” nodding to the original channel and “X” adding an ‘extreme’ or ‘exciting’ twist for the American audience. You know how they love doing that!
User4: It definitely has that early 2000s extreme branding feel to it. I can imagine the flashy promos already. 😆
User5: I’m actually pretty excited to see how this translates on screen. Seems like they’re really trying to capture that energetic, adventurous spirit.
User6: Did they confirm any specific shows for the F3X lineup yet? Or is it still under wraps?
User1: They’ve hinted at a few possibilities, but nothing concrete. A mix of both dubbed French shows and some original U.S. programming seems likely, though. A revival of some classics could definitely be on the table.
User3: I bet they’ll dig into popular titles from the France Truc era. Maybe we’ll see some fan favorites like “Code Lyoko” make a return under the new brand.
User7: I wonder if they’ll commission any new shows specifically for F3X. It would be cool to see some original content developed with this new branding in mind.
User8: They could really turn this into a unique gateway for European animation to the States. It’s like they have this undersold market waiting to be tapped.
User2: Absolutely, and they have the chance to introduce a fresh dynamic to weekend programming. I can’t wait to see what kind of vibe F3X brings to Saturday mornings!
User4: Same here. Let’s hope they roll out some teasers or a preview event soon. It’ll be fun to relive some nostalgia through a new lens, and see what this next chapter for 4Kids holds.
User1: Agreed! Let’s keep our eyes peeled for more updates. This could be a game-changer for Saturday morning TV!

Write a convo asking if it will be “F3X on the CW4Kids” or just “F3X”, considering Toonzai was also called “Toonzai on the CW4Kids”
Forum Thread: Branding Question: F3X on CW4Kids or Just F3X?
—
User1: Hey folks, quick question. With the new F3X block coming up, does anyone know if it’ll be called “F3X on the CW4Kids” like Toonzai was, or just “F3X”?
User2: That’s a good point! I haven’t seen any promos clarifying that yet. Would be interesting to know how they’re branding it.
User3: From what I’ve seen, I think they might lean towards just “F3X”. They seem to be pushing it as a standalone brand.
User4: Yeah, but it might also depend on how they want to market the continuity with CW4Kids. Maybe they’ll keep some elements to remind viewers of their roots.
User5: I wouldn’t be surprised if they debut it as “F3X on CW4Kids” initially, just to keep the existing audience connected, and then transition to simply “F3X” over time.
User1: That makes sense. Having the CW4Kids association might help in the beginning for brand recognition.
User3: Exactly! Plus, it maintains a sense of legacy while introducing something fresh. They could definitely benefit from the nostalgic factor.
User6: I think we’ll find out soon. Once they start releasing more promos or a press release, it’ll be clear how they intend to position F3X.
User2: Let’s hope they give us a clear answer soon. It’ll be interesting to see how they balance new branding with established IP.
User1: Agreed. Keep an ear out for any updates. I’m really curious to see what direction they take with this!

Write a convo revealing if CW4Kids will stay as a subbrand or not
Forum Thread: The Future of CW4Kids: Subbrand or Not?
—
User1: Hey everyone, I just saw some news and wanted to share. Apparently, there’s an update on whether CW4Kids will stay as a subbrand under F3X.
User2: Oh, finally! What’s the verdict? Are they keeping it?
User1: Looks like they’ve decided to drop CW4Kids as a subbrand. They’re going full steam ahead with F3X as the main brand now.
User3: Wow, that’s a bold move. I guess they really want a fresh start with this new block.
User4: Makes sense, though. They probably want to avoid any confusion and establish F3X as its own unique entity.
User5: I get that, but I’m going to miss the CW4Kids label. It has so much nostalgia attached to it!
User2: True, but it could be a good opportunity to reach new audiences. Plus, it indicates they have a lot of confidence in the F3X brand.
User6: Let’s hope F3X brings the same excitement and possibly more. It should be interesting to see how they handle the transition.
User3: Definitely. I’m curious to see if they’ll keep any references to CW4Kids in some form, maybe through Easter eggs in the new programming.
User1: That would be cool. A little nod to the past while looking toward the future. We’ll just have to wait and see how it plays out from here!
