(In a school on a floating island, years after the still on-going peace treaty between the Alliance and the Horde started…)
Sayori: (speaking with her tauren friend - Udaana) “Wait, so your dad is the high chieftain of Thunder Bluff?”
Udaana: (smiling proudly) “Yes, he is! My dad leads our people with honor and wisdom. Thunder Bluff is our home, a city built atop towering mesas in Mulgore. It’s a sight to behold!”
Sayori: (excitedly) “Wow, that sounds amazing! I’ve always heard stories about Thunder Bluff, but I’ve never seen it for myself. I can’t imagine what it must be like living there.”
Udaana: (grinning) “It truly is a unique and breathtaking place. The mesas offer a panoramic view of the surrounding plains, and the air is filled with the sounds of nature. It’s peaceful, yet vibrant.”
Sayori: (dreamily) “I can almost picture it. The gentle breezes, the rolling grasslands…it sounds like the perfect place for a poet to find inspiration. A lot less eerie than where I come from.”
Udaana: (curiously) “Where do you come from, Sayori?”
Sayori: (sighing) “I come from the Undercity, the capital of the Forsaken. It’s a city built underground, and it’s always dark and gloomy. The air is stagnant, and the smell of decay is always in the air. It’s not exactly the most inspiring place to live, even for my Forsaken brethren.”
Udaana: (sympathetically) “Oh, Sayori, I can only imagine how difficult it must be to live in such an environment. But you know, sometimes inspiration can come from the darkest places. Your unique perspective and experiences might bring a different kind of beauty to your poetry.”
Sayori: (considering her words) “You’re right, Udaana. I’ve always tried to find the beauty in everything, even in the most unexpected places. Maybe there is something valuable I can draw from my time in the Undercity.”
Udaana: (supportively) “Absolutely, Sayori! Your talent as a poet is undeniable, and I believe you have the ability to create powerful pieces that speak to the hearts of many, regardless of the backdrop. Besides, now that the Alliance and the Horde are working together, maybe there will be opportunities for you to travel and experience different places.”
Sayori: (brightening up) “You’re right! The new era of peace has opened up a world of possibilities. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll get to visit Thunder Bluff and be inspired by its natural beauty.”
Udaana: (excitedly) “That would be amazing, Sayori! Just imagine standing atop the mesas, with the wind in your hair, and writing down the verses that come to your mind. I can’t wait to see what you create!”
Sayori: (grateful) “Thank you, Udaana. Your friendship and support mean a lot to me. Together, I believe we can bring a new level of understanding and appreciation for different cultures through our art.”
Udaana: (smiling warmly) “Absolutely, Sayori. We may come from different backgrounds, but our creativity and passion are what connect us as friends. Let’s continue to embrace our unique perspectives and create something beautiful together-”
(Suddenly, the duo spots an argument between two of their classmates - a young worgen girl, Luna; and a young dracthyr boy, Nitazar. The two clearly must be in a relationship - and judging by the argument, it must not be going so good; especially with Luna’s twin pregnancy.)
Sayori: (concerned) “Oh no, Luna and Nitazar are arguing again. We should go see if they need help.”
Udaana: (nodding) “You’re right. As their friends, we should try to support them during this difficult time.”
(They approach Luna and Nitazar, who are standing angrily in the hallway)
Luna: (frustrated) “Nitazar, I can’t believe you! How could you forget our doctor’s appointment? We need to take care of our babies!”
Nitazar: (defensive) “I’m sorry, Luna. I got caught up with training at the evoker ruins. I didn’t mean to forget, it just slipped my mind.”
Sayori: (calmly) “Hey Luna, Nitazar, are you okay? We couldn’t help but overhear your argument. Is everything alright?”
Luna: (teary-eyed) “No, everything is not alright. Nitazar forgot about our doctor’s appointment, and it’s important for the health of our babies. I don’t want anything to go wrong.”
Nitazar: (regretfully) “I know I messed up, Luna. I’m sorry. Training has been so intense lately, and I just lost track of time. It won’t happen again.”
Udaana: (compassionately) “Luna, Nitazar, we understand how stressful this situation must be for both of you. But arguing will not solve anything. You two need support right now.”
Sayori: (nodding) “Udaana is right. We’re here for you. Let us help you figure out a solution together. Maybe there’s another appointment available soon or a way to reschedule?”
Luna: (sniffing) “That would be great, but I’m not sure where to start or who to ask. I’m feeling so overwhelmed.”
Udaana: (thoughtfully) “I have an idea. My aunt is a healer in Thunder Bluff. Maybe she can provide some guidance or even recommend another skilled healer in the area.”
Nitazar: (perking up) “That could work! Luna, what do you think?”
Luna: (smiling softly) “Yes, that would be wonderful. Thank you, Udaana. I appreciate your help so much.”
Sayori: (supportively) “We’re here for you, Luna and Nitazar. We’ll do everything we can to make sure you and the babies receive proper care.”
Udaana: (determined) “Alright, let’s go find a quiet spot to talk things over and reach out to my aunt. Together, we’ll make sure everything is taken care of. Remember, you two are not alone in this.”
Luna: (clutching her belly tightly) “OW!!!”
Nitazar: (alarmed) “Luna, what’s wrong? Are you okay?”
Luna: (grimacing) “I think my water just broke. It looks like the babies are coming sooner than we expected!”
Sayori: (urgently) “We need to get you to the infirmary right away! Nitazar, help Luna, and let’s all go quickly.”
Udaana: (guiding them) “Follow me, I know a shortcut to the infirmary. We need to make sure Luna and the babies are safe.”
(They begin to rush Luna to the infirmary, all while her contractions get closer and closer together; and very fast, too.)
Luna: (between labored breaths) “I can’t believe this is happening right now! I’m not ready!”
Sayori: (encouragingly) “You’ve got this, Luna! Just breathe and focus on getting to the infirmary. We’re right here with you!”
Nitazar: (supportively) “Don’t worry, Luna. We’re going to take care of you and the babies. Just hold on a little longer.”
Udaana: (quickly) “We’re almost there, Luna. Just a few more steps. Stay strong.”
(Just before they reach the infirmary, Luna suddenly doubles over in pain as she feels her strongest contraction yet.)
Luna: “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! OH, IT’S
ASSISTANT
COMING! THE BABIES ARE COMING!”
Sayori: (panicking) “Oh no, we’re not going to make it in time! What do we do?”
Udaana: (thinking quickly) “We can’t deliver the babies here in the hallway. Nitazar, go get help! Find a healer or someone who can assist us!”
Nitazar: (nervously) “I’ll go as fast as I can! Don’t worry, Luna, I’ll find someone!”
(Nitazar dashes off, leaving Sayori and Udaana to support Luna during her delivery.)
Sayori: (calmly) “Luna, just breathe and push when you feel ready. We’re here for you.”
Udaana: (encouragingly) “You’re going to be an amazing mother, Luna. Trust in your strength and know that your babies are coming into a world filled with love and support.”
(Luna takes deep breaths and begins to push, while Sayori and Udaana do their best to provide assistance and comfort.)
Sayori: “You’re doing great, Luna! Just a little more, and your babies will be here.”
Udaana: “Stay focused and breathe, Luna. You’re doing amazing.”
(After what feels like an eternity, Luna pushes out her first baby - a beautiful worgen girl. The cries of the newborn fill the air.)
Sayori: (overjoyed) “Congratulations, Luna! You did it! She’s beautiful!”
Udaana: (teary-eyed) “Welcome to the world, little one. You are so loved.”
(Luna smiles weakly, her relief evident on her face, as she cradles her newborn daughter.)
Luna: (tiredly) “Thank you, both of you. I couldn't have done it without your support.”
(Upon hearing the cries of the first baby, Nitazar returns with a healer in tow.)
Healer: (rushing forward) “I heard there was a delivery in progress! How can I assist? Is there another baby?”
Udaana: (pointing) “Yes, right here! Luna just gave birth to a beautiful worgen girl.”
Healer: (assessing the situation) “Alright, Luna, let’s get you to a more comfortable and sanitary environment. Your second baby will be here soon.”
(Luna and her newborn daughter are carefully moved to a nearby room while the healer prepares for the delivery of the second baby.)
Sayori: (whispering softly) “Luna did so well, didn’t she? I can’t believe we just witnessed the miracle of birth.”
Udaana: (in awe) “It truly is a miracle. Luna showed incredible strength and resilience. And to think, we were just talking about supporting each other through difficult times.”
(Hours pass, and finally, the moment arrives. Luna delivers her second baby - a healthy dracthyr boy. Joy and relief fill the room.)
Healer: (smiling) “Congratulations! You have a beautiful son, Luna. Both babies are healthy and thriving.”
Luna: (teary-eyed) “Thank you so much for your help. I couldn’t have done it without all of you.”
Sayori: (gently) “You were amazing, Luna. We’re so proud of you.”
Udaana: (happily) “You and Nitazar are going to be wonderful parents. Your love and dedication to your babies are evident.”
(Luna looks at her two newborns, overwhelmed with love and gratitude.)
Luna: (whispering) “Welcome to the world, my little ones. I promise to give you everything I can.”
Nitazar: (entering the room, breathless) “I heard the babies are here! Luna, are you alright? Are the babies okay?”
Luna: (smiling) “We did it, Nitazar. We have a daughter and a son. They’re both healthy and beautiful.”
Nitazar: (overjoyed) “That’s amazing! I’m so proud of you, Luna. We have a family now.”
(The new parents embrace, tears of happiness streaming down their faces, as their friends surround them with love and support.)
Sayori: (whispering to Udaana) “This is a moment of pure love and connection. It’s incredible how life can bring people together in the most unexpected ways.”
Udaana: (nodding) “Absolutely, Sayori. The bonds we form, the support and love we give each other - it’s what makes life worth living.”
