As duration exceeding 4 days, the mesopore volume and specific surface area gradually increase, with a decrease of the micropores’ specific surface area. In addition, as rises of experimental temperature, pressure and time, the fractal dimensions of 0.8-1.4 nm and 2-11 nm pores significantly increase, with a more heterogeneous pore structure. The adsorption kinetics parameters Pf and Nmax/t of shale also exhibit an increasing trend after the interaction with scCO2, which consistently enhances the efficiency of CO2 sequestration.
