To integrate the third program, the "Artifact Drop Calculator," into your existing code, you'll need to create a new window for the calculator, implement its UI, and connect it to your main menu. Below is the implementation of the `ArtifactCalculatorWindow` class, along with the necessary updates to your `main.py` file.

**1. Create `artifact_calculator_window.py`**

Here's the code for your Artifact Drop Calculator window:

```python
# artifact_calculator_window.py
import sys
from PyQt5.QtWidgets import (
    QApplication, QMainWindow, QWidget, QLabel, QComboBox, QPushButton,
    QVBoxLayout, QHBoxLayout, QRadioButton, QGroupBox, QCheckBox,
    QTextEdit, QMessageBox
)
from PyQt5.QtCore import Qt
from math import comb
class ArtifactCalculatorWindow(QMainWindow):
    def __init__(self):
        super().__init__()
        self.setWindowTitle("Artifact Drop Calculator")
        self.setFixedSize(600, 600)
        # Main widget
        self.central_widget = QWidget()
        self.setCentralWidget(self.central_widget)
        # Layouts
        main_layout = QVBoxLayout()
        self.central_widget.setLayout(main_layout)
        # Rarity selection
        rarity_label = QLabel("Select Artifact Rarity:")
        self.rarity_group = QGroupBox()
        rarity_layout = QHBoxLayout()
        self.rarity_group.setLayout(rarity_layout)
        self.rarity_4star = QRadioButton("4-Star")
        self.rarity_5star = QRadioButton("5-Star")
        self.rarity_5star.setChecked(True)  # Default to 5-star
        rarity_layout.addWidget(self.rarity_4star)
        rarity_layout.addWidget(self.rarity_5star)
        # Artifact type selection
        type_label = QLabel("Select Artifact Type:")
        self.type_combo = QComboBox()
        self.type_combo.addItems(["Flower", "Plume", "Sands", "Goblet", "Circlet"])
        # Starting sub-stats number
        self.output_text.setText(output)
```

**2. Update `main.py` to Connect the Artifact Drop Calculator**

Modify your `main.py` file to import the new window and connect the button:

```python
# main.py
import sys
from PyQt5.QtWidgets import QApplication, QMainWindow
from critmass_calculator.calculator_window import CalculatorWindow
from team_builder.team_builder_window import TeamBuilderWindow
from artifact_calculator_window import ArtifactCalculatorWindow
from main_menu_ui import Ui_MainMenuWindow
class MainMenu(QMainWindow, Ui_MainMenuWindow):
    def __init__(self):
        super().__init__()
        self.setupUi(self)
        self.calculatorButton.clicked.connect(self.open_calculator)
        self.teamBuilderButton.clicked.connect(self.open_team_builder)
        self.dropCalculatorButton.clicked.connect(self.open_drop_calculator)
    def open_calculator(self):
        self.calculator = CalculatorWindow()
        self.calculator.show()
    def open_team_builder(self):
        self.team_builder = TeamBuilderWindow()
        self.team_builder.show()
    def open_drop_calculator(self):
        self.drop_calculator = ArtifactCalculatorWindow()
        self.drop_calculator.show()
if __name__ == "__main__":
    app = QApplication(sys.argv)
    main_menu = MainMenu()
    main_menu.show()
    sys.exit(app.exec_())
```

**3. Ensure Your Resources Are Correctly Referenced**

Make sure all references to resources like icons and images are correctly set in your `main_menu_ui.py` and any other UI files.

**Explanation of the Artifact Calculator Logic**

The `ArtifactCalculatorWindow` class provides a UI where users can:

- Select the artifact's rarity (4-star or 5-star).
- Choose the artifact type (Flower, Plume, Sands, Goblet, Circlet).
- Specify the number of starting sub-stats based on rarity.
- Select desired sub-stats from the possible options.
- Calculate the probability of obtaining an artifact with those sub-stats.

**Probability Calculation Details**

The probability calculation is based on combinatorics:

- **Total combinations**: The total number of ways to choose `n` sub-stats from the total possible sub-stats.
- **Favorable combinations**: The number of combinations that include all desired sub-stats.
- **Probability**: The ratio of favorable combinations to total combinations.

**Example Calculation**

Suppose:

- Total sub-stats = 10
- Starting sub-stats = 4
- Desired sub-stats = ["Crit Rate%", "Crit DMG%"] (2 sub-stats)

The total number of combinations:

\[ \text{Total Combinations} = C(10, 4) = 210 \]

Number of ways to include the desired sub-stats:

\[ \text{Favorable Combinations} = C(8, 2) = 28 \]

Probability:

\[ P = \frac{\text{Favorable Combinations}}{\text{Total Combinations}} = \frac{28}{210} \approx 13.33\% \]

**Next Steps**

This implementation focuses on calculating the probability of obtaining the desired sub-stats at the initial drop. For a more comprehensive tool, you might consider:

- Calculating the probabilities of sub-stat upgrades favoring the desired stats.
- Incorporating main stat probabilities based on artifact type.
- Providing visual representations or simulations of possible outcomes.

**Note**: This code is a foundational implementation to get you started. You might need to adjust it to fit the exact specifications of your project, especially if there are additional complexities in the game's mechanics that affect these probabilities.

how to install scipy in msys2
ASSISTANT
To install SciPy in MSYS2, you can use the package manager `pacman` that comes with MSYS2. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you install SciPy:

1. **Install MSYS2:**
   - First, download and install MSYS2 from the official website: https://www.msys2.org/

2. **Update the package databases and core system packages:**
   - Open the MSYS2 shell and run:
     ```sh
     pacman -Syu
     ```
   - Close and reopen the shell if required, and re-run the above command to ensure all packages are updated.

3. **Install Python:**
   - Decide on the Python environment you want to use. MSYS2 provides multiple environments (MSYS, MINGW32, MINGW64). For scientific libraries like SciPy, it's often best to use `MINGW64` for 64-bit systems.
   - Run the following command to install Python:
     ```sh
     pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-python
     ```

4. **Install necessary build tools and libraries:**
   - Install the required tools and libraries necessary for building SciPy. Run:
     ```sh
     pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-gcc
     ```

5. **Install SciPy using pip:**
   - First, ensure that `pip` is up to date:
     ```sh
     python -m pip install --upgrade pip
     ```
   - Then install SciPy along with NumPy (which is a prerequisite):
     ```sh
     python -m pip install numpy
     python -m pip install scipy
     ```

6. **Verify the installation:**
   - You can verify that SciPy is installed by importing it in Python:
     ```sh
     python -c "import scipy; print(scipy.__version__)"
     ```

how to import portaudio in python
ASSISTANT
To use PortAudio in Python, you typically use the `pyaudio` library, which is a Python wrapper for the PortAudio library. Here’s how you can import and use PortAudio functionality in your Python projects:

1. **Install PyAudio:**
   - First, ensure that you have Python and `pip` installed on your system.
   - You can install `pyaudio` using `pip` with the following command:
     ```sh
     pip install pyaudio
     ```

   - Note: If you're on Windows and encounter installation issues, you might need to download a precompiled wheel from [Unofficial Windows Binaries for Python Extension Packages](https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pyaudio) and install it via pip. Use the filename that matches your Python version and system architecture, then run:

     ```sh
     pip install <path-to-downloaded-wheel-file>
     ```

2. **Import and use PyAudio:**
   - Once installed, you can import PyAudio in your Python script and use it to interact with audio streams. Here’s a simple example:

   ```python
   import pyaudio
   # Initialize PyAudio
   p = pyaudio.PyAudio()
   # Open a stream
   stream = p.open(format=pyaudio.paInt16,  # Sample format
                   channels=1,              # Number of channels
                   rate=44100,              # Sample rate
                   input=True,              # Input stream
                   frames_per_buffer=1024)  # Buffer size
   print("Recording...")
   # Capture data from the stream
   frames = []
   for _ in range(0, int(44100 / 1024 * 5)):  # Record for 5 seconds
       data = stream.read(1024)
       frames.append(data)
   print("Finished recording.")
   # Stop and close the stream
   stream.stop_stream()
   stream.close()
   # Terminate PyAudio
   p.terminate()
   # At this point, 'frames' contains the captured audio data.
   ```

This simple script initializes PyAudio, opens a stream for input, records for 5 seconds, and then closes the stream. You can modify the parameters such as the sample rate, number of channels, and format according to your needs. PyAudio provides a flexible interface to use PortAudio for real-time audio input and output.

for windows
ASSISTANT
To use PortAudio in Python on Windows, you'll generally use the `pyaudio` library, which is a Python wrapper for PortAudio. Here is how you can set it up and use it on a Windows system:

### Step 1: Install Python (if not already installed)

Make sure you have Python installed on your system. You can download and install it from the [official Python website](https://www.python.org/). During installation, ensure you select the option to add Python to your PATH.

### Step 2: Install PyAudio

Installing PyAudio on Windows can sometimes be tricky due to the necessity of compiling native code. To simplify this:

1. **Using pip (directly):**

   Run the command below in your command prompt:

   ```sh
   pip install pyaudio
   ```

   If this does not work and you encounter errors related to compiling, proceed to the next step.

2. **Using a precompiled wheel:**

   - Navigate to [Unofficial Windows Binaries for Python Extension Packages](https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pyaudio).
   - Find the PyAudio section and download the wheel file that matches your Python version and system architecture (32-bit or 64-bit).
   - Once downloaded, open your command prompt, navigate to the directory where the wheel file is saved, and run:

     ```sh
     pip install <name-of-the-wheel-file>.whl
     ```

Replace `<name-of-the-wheel-file>` with the actual filename, e.g., `PyAudio‑0.2.11‑cp39‑cp39‑win_amd64.whl`.

### Step 3: Use PyAudio in Your Python Script

Here is a simple example of how to record audio using PyAudio:

```python
import pyaudio
# Initialize PyAudio
p = pyaudio.PyAudio()
# Open a stream
stream = p.open(format=pyaudio.paInt16,  # Sample format
                channels=1,              # Number of channels
                rate=44100,              # Sample rate
                input=True,              # Input stream
                frames_per_buffer=1024)  # Buffer size
print("Recording...")
# Capture data from the stream
frames = []
for _ in range(0, int(44100 / 1024 * 5)):  # Record for 5 seconds
    data = stream.read(1024)
    frames.append(data)
print("Finished recording.")
# Stop and close the stream
stream.stop_stream()
stream.close()
# Terminate PyAudio
p.terminate()
# 'frames' now contains the recorded audio data.
```

### Additional Notes

- **Audio Drivers:** Ensure your system audio drivers are up-to-date. Sometimes issues with PyAudio can be related to outdated or incompatible drivers.
- **Python Version Compatibility:** Make sure the wheel file you downloaded matches your Python version. Use `python --version` to check which version you have installed.
- **Administrative Privileges:** Sometimes you may need to run the Command Prompt as an administrator to install packages.

in msys2
ASSISTANT
To use PyAudio (PortAudio) in your MSYS2 environment, you will need to install both the Python package and PortAudio library dependencies within MSYS2. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you set this up:

### Step 1: Install MSYS2

Ensure MSYS2 is installed. Download it from the [official MSYS2 website](https://www.msys2.org/) and follow the instructions to set it up.

### Step 2: Update your MSYS2 Packages

Open the MSYS2 shell and update the package database and core system:

```sh
pacman -Syu
```

You may need to close and reopen the shell, and run the command again to complete the updates.

### Step 3: Install PortAudio and Python

1. **Switch to MINGW64 Environment:**

    You should use the MINGW64 environment for installing Python and related packages for 64-bit systems. This can help avoid compatibility issues. Open the MSYS2 MINGW64 shell.

2. **Install PortAudio:**

    Install the PortAudio library using the `pacman` package manager:

    ```sh
    pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-portaudio
    ```

3. **Install Python and Pip:**

    Make sure you have Python and pip set up in your MSYS2 environment:

    ```sh
    pacman -S mingw-w64-x86_64-python mingw-w64-x86_64-python-pip
    ```

### Step 4: Install PyAudio

With the dependencies installed, you can now use pip within the MSYS2 environment to install PyAudio:

```sh
pip install pyaudio
```

### Step 5: Verify Installation

Create a simple Python script or test PyAudio directly in an interactive shell:

```python
import pyaudio
p = pyaudio.PyAudio()
print("PyAudio version:", pyaudio.__version__)
p.terminate()
```

### Additional Notes

- **Compiler and Library Paths:** MSYS2 often handles these automatically, but if you encounter compiler issues, ensure that your path variables are correctly set up. The `mingw-w64-x86_64` paths are crucial here for building extensions.
- **Handling Errors:** If you run into specific compilation or runtime errors related to missing libraries, ensure that your MSYS2 environment is fully up-to-date and that you've installed all necessary dependencies for PortAudio as outlined.
- **Audio Drivers:** Ensure that your system's audio drivers are functional and up-to-date, as PyAudio depends on these for accessing audio hardware.

By following the steps above, you should be able to successfully use PyAudio (PortAudio) in Python through the MSYS2 environment.

You are a database expert and SQL optimizer. You will be given a SQL query and its rewritten variant. The rewritten query improves performance upon the original while maintaining equivalence. Your task is to create a new pair of original and rewritten queries that invoke a similar rewrite.

[ORIGINAL QUERY]```select case when (select count(*) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 1 and 20) > 1071 then (select avg(ss_ext_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 1 and 20) else (select avg(ss_net_paid_inc_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 1 and 20) end bucket1,case when (select count(*) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 21 and 40) > 39161 then (select avg(ss_ext_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 21 and 40) else (select avg(ss_net_paid_inc_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 21 and 40) end bucket2,case when (select count(*) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 41 and 60) > 29434 then (select avg(ss_ext_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 41 and 60) else (select avg(ss_net_paid_inc_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 41 and 60) end bucket3,case when (select count(*) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 61 and 80) > 6568 then (select avg(ss_ext_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 61 and 80) else (select avg(ss_net_paid_inc_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 61 and 80) end bucket4,case when (select count(*) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 81 and 100) > 21216 then (select avg(ss_ext_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 81 and 100) else (select avg(ss_net_paid_inc_tax) from store_sales where ss_quantity between 81 and 100) end bucket5 from reason where r_reason_sk = 1 ;```

[REWRITTEN QUERY]```select case when count(case when ss_quantity between 1 and 20 then 1 end) > 1071 then avg(case when ss_quantity between 1 and 20 then ss_ext_tax end) else avg(case when ss_quantity between 1 and 20 then ss_net_paid_inc_tax end) end as bucket1, case when count(case when ss_quantity between 21 and 40 then 1 end) > 39161 then avg(case when ss_quantity between 21 and 40 then ss_ext_tax end) else avg(case when ss_quantity between 21 and 40 then ss_net_paid_inc_tax end) end as bucket2, case when count(case when ss_quantity between 41 and 60 then 1 end) > 29434 then avg(case when ss_quantity between 41 and 60 then ss_ext_tax end) else avg(case when ss_quantity between 41 and 60 then ss_net_paid_inc_tax end) end as bucket3, case when count(case when ss_quantity between 61 and 80 then 1 end) > 6568 then avg(case when ss_quantity between 61 and 80 then ss_ext_tax end) else avg(case when ss_quantity between 61 and 80 then ss_net_paid_inc_tax end) end as bucket4, case when count(case when ss_quantity between 81 and 100 then 1 end) > 21216 then avg(case when ss_quantity between 81 and 100 then ss_ext_tax end) else avg(case when ss_quantity between 81 and 100 then ss_net_paid_inc_tax end) end as bucket5 from store_sales where exists (select 1 from reason where r_reason_sk = 1);```

Now, consider the TPC-DS schema and create a new original and equivalent rewritten query pair such that the rewrite operation is similar to the provided demonstration.Keep the following points in mind while creating the new query pair:
1. The original query must not have any CTEs.
2. The original query must make use of the following fact tables: ['web_sales']. Below is the join graph for these fact tables:
    ['web_sales(ws_web_site_sk) references web_site(web_site_sk);', 'web_sales(ws_sold_time_sk) references time_dim(t_time_sk);', 'web_sales(ws_ship_customer_sk) references customer(c_customer_sk);']
4. The original query must employ 0 joins.
5. The original query must employ the following operators in its WHERE clause: [].
6. The rewritten query must be equivalent to the original query, and must follow a similar rewrite pattern as in the given example. Enclose the original and rewritten queries within ``` and ```.
ASSISTANT
Certainly! Here is a new pair of original and rewritten queries based on the constraints and patterns provided:

  web_site_sk = 1;
```
[REWRITTEN QUERY]
```sql
select
  case when count(case when ws_quantity between 1 and 10 then 1 end) > 5000
       then sum(case when ws_quantity between 1 and 10 then ws_ext_sales_price end)
       else sum(case when ws_quantity between 1 and 10 then ws_net_profit end)
  end as bucket1,
  case when count(case when ws_quantity between 11 and 20 then 1 end) > 15000
       then sum(case when ws_quantity between 11 and 20 then ws_ext_sales_price end)
       else sum(case when ws_quantity between 11 and 20 then ws_net_profit end)
  end as bucket2,
  case when count(case when ws_quantity between 21 and 30 then 1 end) > 10000
       then sum(case when ws_quantity between 21 and 30 then ws_ext_sales_price end)
       else sum(case when ws_quantity between 21 and 30 then ws_net_profit end)
  end as bucket3,
  case when count(case when ws_quantity between 31 and 40 then 1 end) > 8000
       then sum(case when ws_quantity between 31 and 40 then ws_ext_sales_price end)
       else sum(case when ws_quantity between 31 and 40 then ws_net_profit end)
  end as bucket4,
  case when count(case when ws_quantity between 41 and 50 then 1 end) > 2000
       then sum(case when ws_quantity between 41 and 50 then ws_ext_sales_price end)
       else sum(case when ws_quantity between 41 and 50 then ws_net_profit end)
  end as bucket5
from
  web_sales
where
  exists (select 1 from web_site where web_site_sk = 1);
```
This query pair uses the `web_sales` fact table as specified, implements the similar pattern of operating on bucketed ranges of `ws_quantity`, and avoids joins and specific operators in the WHERE clause as required.
Known for his iconic cowboy and war hero roles, John Wayne embodied the spirit of American cinema's golden era. However, Wayne's public persona as a rugged individual was intertwined with more contentious aspects of his personal life and beliefs. He was vocal about his conservative views, which sparked controversy, particularly regarding issues of race and civil rights. In a 1971 interview with Playboy, Wayne expressed beliefs that many considered racist and out of step with the civil rights progress of the time. He also supported political movements and figures that were in opposition to civil rights advancements, making him a polarizing figure during his career.
Wayne's relationships with women were equally complex and often described as problematic. Though he married three times, his personal connections were characterized by his dominant presence and authoritative behavior. His on-screen romance was usually laced with his commanding persona, but off-screen, his relationships sometimes reflected the more tumultuous side of his personality. Reports from various biographies suggest that his expectations of women were traditional, which often led to friction with those around him.
On set, Wayne was known for his authoritative behavior, which seemed an extension of his strong screen characters. While this nature earned him respect among peers for his professionalism and leadership, it also led to conflicts with directors and co-stars who had differing creative visions. His approach was sometimes perceived as overbearing, yet it cemented his status as a Hollywood icon. At home, Wayne's life mirrored some of this control, reflecting traditional values that resonated with certain audiences but clashed with the evolving social norms of the era.
Wayne's legacy remains a tapestry of admiration and debate, capturing the essence of a man who was as complex as the characters he portrayed. His outspoken nature and staunch beliefs shaped not only his career but also the cultural conversations of his time, ensuring his persona extended far beyond mere film roles into a broader societal presence. Reply finished.
