---
### *Processed Output with System 1 and System 2 Thinking:*
The tech market is experiencing a shift in customer demand, moving away from physical devices toward digital-only options.
[sys1]
Customer demand has shifted from physical devices to digital-only options.
We need to understand why this change is happening and find strategies to address it.
Key factors may include cost, convenience, and technological trends.
[end sys1]
[sys2]
**2.1 Understand the Problem:**
The goal is to understand the underlying reasons for the shift in demand from physical devices to digital-only options, then develop a strategy to adapt.
*Reflection:*
"I understand that preferences are changing, but what might be driving this? Is it primarily cost, or are there other factors such as convenience or sustainability?"
*Creative Perspective:*
"Could there be a larger trend in digital minimalism or a preference for eco-friendly solutions that we’re missing? What unseen motivations might explain this shift?"
**2.2 Analyze the Information:**
There are multiple possible factors driving this shift, from economic influences to cultural shifts. It’s essential to isolate each factor and understand its impact.
*Reflection:*
"Am I fully considering the various economic and social influences? Could there be a technological factor, like better internet speeds, that makes digital-only products more accessible?"
*Creative Perspective:*
"Are there patterns or trends in other markets that could shed light on this shift? Could this be part of a larger trend toward virtual experiences?"
**2.3 Generate Hypotheses:**
1. Customers prefer digital options due to lower costs. (Confidence: 0.8, Creative: 0.4)
2. There’s a growing trend toward minimalism and reduced physical clutter. (Confidence: 0.7, Creative: 0.7)
3. Digital products offer greater flexibility and ease of use. (Confidence: 0.6, Creative: 0.6)
4. Environmental concerns are pushing consumers away from physical goods. (Confidence: 0.6, Creative: 0.8)

Hair: Straw-blonde, shaggy, big bangs, shoulder-length (it wont grow any longer). The bunches in the side are tied off with leather string, using slipknots.Eyes: Golden yellow. Somewhat round for an elf.Height/Build: 3’6”, the runt of the tribe. Athletic but still has some curve to her. Breasts the proportional equivalent of a c-cup.Skin: Caramel. Tanned, but one of the lighter shades in the tribe (due to the time she spend in another form, one that doesn’t tan). Small pale scars on her nose, the remnants of her days integrating into the pack. She decided to keep them as trophies of the accomplishment.Face: Round face. Pert button nose. Slightly large ears give her a baby-faced quality.
Clothing:Warmer climate: A gold tabard, lined in very dark brown. Secured around the waist with a belt of the color of the lining. She wears nothing underneath this but a skimpy loincloth. Laced sandals, sometimes dark brown bracers. The sandals, loincloth, bracers, and belt are tied with slipknots so they will fall away under internal pressure, allowing her to in an emergency to transform without stopping to disrobe.
She enjoys letting her cousin, Selecia dress her up, so her wardrobe in the Canyon is quite varied. But the tabard is her standard for hunting and caravanning.
Colder climate: TBDGoldenrod dress with warm brown trim, lined with fur on the inside and secured to her form with a leather waist clincher. Sturdy boots. Long golden scarf.
Both:Sometimes carries a shoulder-slung satchel, which can be worn around her neck in wolf form, to hold whatever she was wearing and holding as an elf. Hunting clothes tend to favor the warm golden colors of canyon/grassland camouflage, butFangsong doesnt have any regular color scheme that she wears year upon year. Preferring to let the clothesmakers doll her up in whatever strikes their fancy whenever she needs a new garment. So long as it's not to constraining. She usually only wears any jewelry when she’s at the Canyon.
Personality:A laid back, go-with-the-flow kind of elfDocile unless pushed too farLong fuse on her temperGoes along to get alongObserves before actingTries to roll with things as they happenHas a daredevil streak in her+Likes to watch and play with cub and pups when she’s at home/with the caravan+Decisive, and firm in her decisions once she’s made them+ Pragmatic and practical in making those decisions+ Can exude a LOT of personal authority when she needs to- Hedonistic tendencies, doesn’t know when to stop once she’s started having fun- Has allowed some skills she was trained in from youth to slip in favor of doing them as a wolf
Magic:Type: ShapeshiftingStrength: StrongDescription of powers: Fangsong can assume at will the form of a full-sized jackwolf, and change back whenever she pleases (following a period of rest, and certain other limiting factors ). The process is painless, but she is defenseless while it’s happening. Don’t ask where the extra mass comes from, she doesn’t know. She cannot affect a hybrid ‘were’ form, but sometimes she secretly works on stopping the transformation partway through (so far no success). Her clothes do not transform with her. She is NOT working on changing THAT, because yuck. (see “life as a jackwolf” below for full details)

Likes/Dislikes/Phobias:Likes+ Prefers fighting/hunting in wolfform+ Furring, especially with males twice her size+ snakes are her favorite food+ singing+ offering her services as a mount to elves who are between jackwolves (usually hunters, because she herself has to participate in and lead the hunts)Dislikes- Bellyrubs/ Chestrubs, in wolf-form (If she’s in elf-form, you can rub whatever you want!)Phobias- avoids grapes, onions, chocolate; anything a wolf cant stomach
Family.Friends: Mother: Geeda (deceased)Father: JorenSiblings: N/ACousins: SeleciaUncle: SelenLifemate/Lovemate: N/A (Not planning to start with one. If she ended up in a relationship, I’d be more inclined for her to take a male mate, since I’ve played two same-sex relationships in the other holt)Cubs: NoneMentor: Whyn Student: Any youngster looking for tips on hunting. Which currently means Zharra, and Shuri if he ever admits to how much he doesn't know.
Freesharer: Free and loose, enjoys both sexes……In jackwolf form, her biology/chemistry is different, and she feels no attraction to elves……She avoids taking jackwolf form during times of year when she’d risk being attractive to wolves
History: Born to the name Freesong, raised almost solely by her father as Geeda died during her first hunt after birthing the cub. Trained as a hunter and warrior from a young age, never being made to feel like a lesser member of the tribe due to her small stature or letting it get in the way of the things she wanted. Her tendencies to be a ‘calculated daredevil’ developed during this time, as a means of keeping up with others.
Her life changed dramatically when she came into her magic of shapeshifting. The power to take on the form of a jackwolf. For limited time at first, but eventually changing back and forth at will. She quickly fell in love with the freedom and thrill that came from running across the grass sea at full tilt. And the power trip of being so strong was fun too! But it wasn’t all fun and games. She had to learn her way through her different abilities and senses via trial and error. It took time to come to feel ‘at one’ with this new body, to be as comfortable with it as the one she was born to.
And then there were the true jackwolves. They accepted her as one of their own, for she smelled even more like one of them than she did before. But the alphas made very, sometimes painfully, clear that she would live by pack rules, not those of the tribe. She had always lived the philosophy of the Now, and had seen all aspects of pack behavior from an outside viewpoint. Fangsong found out that living as a packmate was different from watching it. Her jack-friend during this time of change, the mid-ranked Moondust, would only help her so far. And when he died in a challenge, she had to make the rest of the way on her own to a new balance between her two side and two packs.
She took the name Fangsong to reflect this balance. It’s been around 180 years since she began living this dual life. Now she tends to split her time as elf and wolf. Leaning towards the elf during the stays at the permanent residences, and the wolf during the moons of travelling along the grass sea. While she prefers to hunt as a wolf in either case, she also very much likes to make time with her fellow elves as one of them.
Fangsong was second-ranked among hunters when Tusk challenged Longtooth. She replaced Tusk as Hunt Leader when he claimed the title of Chief in 2160.
Any other information: :Living as a jackwolf: Fangsong’s jackwolf form is as follows: Deep warm brown base coat up top half of the body forehead and muzzle, Pale warm brown for the sides, muzzle, cheek, the whole of the legs . A stripe of very dark brown runs from the top of her head down her back, blending into the warm brown along the sides, all the way to the tail which is completely that color. Her throat and chest are white. Her belly and the spots over her eyes are creamy, the same as her hair in elf form. Golden-yellow eyes.
Despite her small stature as an elf, she makes for one of the larger jackwovles in the pack. She’s a gentle giant, though, unless rougher behavior is called for.
When in this form, she is completely a jackwolf on a physical and biochemical level, with all the strengths, weakness, and senses of one (such as monochrome sight with higher motion sensitivity).Mentally, Fangsong’s elf-mind continues to assert itself while she is in her alternate form. Mentally, she changes little. (Long story short, she is more Kimo than Timmain, lacking the High One’s capacity to transform her whole mind into that of a jackwolf. For more details, keep reading.).
The upside of this is that she retains the ability to send sentences, emotions, and images. And she’s in no danger of becoming ‘lost’ to the jackwolf, because she cannot submerge herself that far in the first place. Downside: She had to learn through trial and error to understand and make the most of her canine senses; The practical knowledge didn’t just ‘come’ to her. She’s learned though how to avoid tussles if she can, and doesn’t bother being a jackwolf at all when the females are in estrus, so she can avoid dealing with the alpha female altogether.
She now maintains a relatively high position in the pack (“Gamma Wolf” if such a thing exists). High enough that they will accept her ‘suggestions’ during a hunt, but out of the way of the wrangling over Alpha position, being expected to enforce their orders, and other squabbles. The other members of the pack recognize her in elf form by smell and mental signature, so she doesn’t have to fight her way back into place every time she swaps out. But she *has* to spend at least some of her time as a jackwolf in order to maintain that situation, given the impermanence of jackwolf memory.

LIMITING FACTORS FOR FANGSONG'S MAGIC
LIMITING FACTORS FOR SHAPESHIFT MAGIC
1) time - she has to 'restore her magical energies' between changes. Since compared to putting on a fishtail of same relative size she's putting on/taking off a LOT of mass. (Mass Generation is essentially a secondary magical power for her). Roughly an hour, but if she changes repeatedly in a short time, the rest period becomes longer.
2) Pain - sensory overload blocks the change. From elf to wolf or wolf to elf. (Note that pain does not force a reversion to elf-form, Ontological Inertia is in effect.) IE she cant literally hulk out, at least not from physical damage.
3) Extra Weight - The magic only converts her own mass. If she's eaten as a wolf and gorged herself as wolves tend to do, she'd have too much undigested material inside her that isnt really 'hers' yet to swap back to elf. If she were to try, her *stomach* would shrink but its *contents* wouldnt. Pain and instinct would snap her back to wolf form. #3 is likely to come up in the caravan months, if she's constantly moving/killing/eating as a wolf, cuz she'd have to eat to maintain wolf metabolism. #3 would also come up if her bladder and bowels are holding in a lot of #1 and #2
4) Physical Exhaustion. See #2
Sidenote: Fangsong chooses not to eat anything that could make her wolf-form sick, even in elf-form just in case she has need to transform. Grapes, onions, etc. Of course it's possible that all wolf-blooded elves have to avoid such things.
